ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCES I'VE EVER HAD.
To begin, me and my girlfriend were hungry, so she decided to go up to the counter to order something, she waited fifteen minutes for someone to tell her that food wouldn't be ready for another half an hour.
So we decided to skate while we were waiting. We were given skates that obviously needed to be re-laced. While my girlfriend was talking to the guy who we later found out was the MANAGER, about her problem with the skates, he turned away from her and walked away.
Once we finally got our skates, we tried to put our stuff in the locker. We ended up having trouble with the locker, which requires 75 cents to be put in to store stuff. An employee was called over. She said she'd find three quarters to figure it out. Ten minutes we probably stood there, while we watched her help other people. When she finally came back, she figured out our locker was broken. She said she would go and get three more quarters. Almost half an hour passed while we stood waiting again, we finally gave up after how long it was, when we were getting ready to leave is when the manager came over with three quarters, briefly explained how to operate the locker, then skated away. The locker messed up again. We were done, it had been over an hour, and we still hadn't gotten to skate.
We decided to ask for a refund of our $21 and waited again for the manager to show up after we had asked, he then spoke to me and my girlfriend in a condescending tone. He said he didn't see the locker not working as a reason not to skate. I'm not sure how other people feel about this, but in a crowded building, I prefer my valuables to be secure. And if that wasn't the reason, the lack of service was enough to turn us off. He offered to get us our refund in a disrespectful tone.
There were so many times when this experience could've been made better. If they had helped one person at a time, and brought us our change, if the manager had stayed and helped us with the locker, if the manager had been more hospitable, and not made us feel like our time was far less valuable than his, or if we'd felt listened to in the slightest. We received no apology at any time, about any of the problems, not about how long it took, not about our bad experience, not about the lack of clarity. I'm sorry to say, but they've lost more than two customers, they've lost mine and my girlfriend's...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOh boy, where do I begin. When we got there, we stood at the desk for over 5 minutes and no one was there. Someone finally ran up after and asked us what we wanted. The service started off poorly from the beginning. We asked what he meant and he said skating or bowling. We said bowling as it was 8pm and the skating ring was already closed so that was a weird question. He asked how long we wanted and we told him the full two hours for the cosmic bowling that was 8-10pm. He proceeded to put down an hour and then asked again. We told him again 8pm-10pm. He still didnāt get it. Anyways, our first lane, we noticed after the first frame that the scores were correct. It kept saying like 1 when 5 pins went down or 6 when 1 pin went down. They were quick to fix this by moving over to a different lane (but ended up putting another group on that same lane). I ended up getting some sodas for my group and tipped on top only to find out that they didnāt even give the 20% discount that they advertised. I couldāve overlooked this but the size of the drink with no refills allowed shook me. Throughout the night, there seemed to only be one man working with a patch on his ear and he was doing great! Literally the best employee there. Closer to the end, more employees started to show up which was weird. The time was 9:58 and they shut on lane down when we still had 2 minutes remaining. We were literally on the last person on the last ball. They said they were closed but still⦠2 minutes when they couldāve seen where we were? Fine, whatever. As we were leaving, we wanted to wash our hands but they blocked off the restrooms and told us to use the hand sanitizer. Like, the oil from the lanes and the balls are filthy. Yāall couldāve let us wash our hands and be on our way without giving attitude about the sanitizer. Absolutely will never be back. You get what you pay for I suppose. Also, the menās restroom (from earlier in the night) is weirdly set up. Why are the urinals and the stall wall so close where you canāt slide by the other person...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe bowled with 8 people on a Saturday night. We reserved a lane the day before for cosmic bowling and when we arrived, and throughout the whole night, there were several lanes open. The staff decided to put us at the very end next to two large birthday parties. We asked for a different set of lanes but they reported there were no lanes together. At least 6 lanes were available throughout our entire visit that were away from the birthday parties.
The cosmic part of the bowling was a joke. The lights were simply turned off at the lanes without black light or other cosmic like features. We could barely see the pins and had to look at the screen above to see how many pins were knocked down. The screens were a joke too. The scoring was completely off, taking the fun of competition out of bowling.
The lanes malfunctioned multiple times. At one point, the lane was down for over 20 minutes. The front staff āradioedā to the back to get help. Nothing happened for another 15 minutes. Staff tried to find the manager but he was nowhere to be found. Finally he was located and radioed again to the back. It was fixed but malfunctioned two other times afterwards.
The area around the lanes were disgusting and sticky. We had to clear up the old drink cups and garbage. The balls were sticky and it was hard to find the balls needed. They were spread out throughout the whole facility.
The bathroom was horrendous and was out of toilet paper. When the toilet paper arrived, I advised the staff member that there was toilet paper and garbage all over the floor. They never cleaned it up and simply walked away.
The arcade was a disappointment to the kids. Many of the fun games were out of order which left claw machines that were not producing any prizes as the claws were very loose.
$250 for 8 people for two hours was not worth it. We wonāt be...
