I have been coming to the Lynnwood Chroma salon for about a year now.

I still remember booking my first appointment on the bus during my commute home. I needed a new stylist and just requested the first available one. Alyx was the stylist I got and I was set for November 27th 2021.

On first meeting she was amazing. Cheerful, personable, super chatty. We talked about adjusting my pre-existing Aveda hair formula to get me a better copper shade. Found a good middle ground for a low maintenance style that I can work with day to day

A dye job and hair cut later we had found the perfect formula.

And I left making a new friend and having my first long term stylist. Someone I can now use as an excuse to add points to my starbucks card before I go into my appointment.

Touch ups before weddings or trips and just because I want to pamper myself...

Every time I go in it is like seeing that best friend you had done everything with. We reconfirm i am keeping the same hair formula, i tell her to take creative liberties within the very open parameters i have for my hair. Share in amazing questions, conversing about personal and work life, getting upset hearing about how poorly pigeons were treated...

She has consistently provided the best work I have ever recieved, in my opinion, well worth (if not more than) what i pay.

Like I said on Instagram. She deserves an all expenses paid vacation to her destination of choice for two weeks (paid vacation), a fat raise of at LEAST $250,000 per year. A gift basket, a wine and charcuterie sampler, all brand new styling tools, and oh my god. So much more.

Alyx is my favorite stylist ever and she is too precious for this world. I can't.

It’s been more than six years since I last went to a hair salon .my previous experience was terrible! The stylist back then cut my hair way too short, and it looked awful. Since that day, I decided to never go to a salon again.

But this Saturday, after my hair had grown very long and damaged, I finally decided to give it another try ,and I’m so glad I did! I had my appointment with Bailey, and she was amazing.

She really takes care of her clients, listens carefully, and does exactly what you ask for. She gave me the perfect haircut — it made me look younger and completely refreshed!

The next day, everyone who saw me was shocked in a good way ,they couldn’t believe the transformation!

Kayla is a magical wizard with color! She took my over-bleached home box color long hair and transitioned it to healthy, gorgeous natural looking blonde hair. I have had the privilege and good fortune to have her as my stylist for over three years now. She is a wonderful and positive person who brings joy into her art, as what she does with hair is art.

Aveda products smell and feel yummy on your hair. But beyond products, technique is a difference maker. Getting your hair washed by Kayla is a spa-like, nirvana-for-the-head experience. Every scalp massage she has given me has been wonderful and makes me feel peaceful.

Best of all, Kayla listens and advises. She gives you what you want, while informing you of and suggesting things that can help you maintain your look at home.
