Sprague's Pond Mini Park — Attraction in Lynnwood

Came here for fishing~ despite it not being the best hour to go fishing, i still had a few bites. :]

If you have kids, they have a big toy and some swings. Lots of water fowl too~ signs say please do not feed but people break that rule anyhow. :/ If you can't resist the urge to feed the ducks and geese, please take the time to buy some appropriate food for them- bread is no good.

Downside- it can be noisy due to the kids. This can affect the fish biting. The ground is also littered in duck and goose poo so bring...

This is a great little park. It has a pond with lots of water fowl around. You can even see an occasional turtle. There is a play area for the younger kids as well. There is a walking trail, but I haven't ever trekked down it. One big thing that is missing is a restroom, unless it is out of sight down the walking path. No bathroom facility, picnic benches run down, lots of geese poop everywhere. Wasps kept hovering around the entire time we tried to eat lunch. The mini playground is not bad but very small. I think you'll get maybe 1 hr of use for a toddler.

Better than nothing I guess and it is close to the highway. But I wouldn't go out of my way...
