Disappointed is the best way to sum it up. I usually stay in choice hotels because they are budget friendly but this time I wanted to splurge a little for my kids while we were on vacation and thought by staying here we’d get a nicer experience but I was so wrong and disappointed I almost cried because of how i hyped it up for my kids and then arrived to find it so dirty and old. First when we drove up there was trash overflowing EVERYWHERE outside and in the hallways. I thought to myself, well it’s 2am maybe they will get to it in the morning. We checked in and went straight to bed! Slept in till 9am and Woke up to sunlight to find out the sheets were laying on had nasty stains on them. We reserved for 4 people but only had 3 sets of towels so we called down but the front desk said housekeeping wasn’t in yet so we’d have to come down ourselves and get an extra towel. Okay fine whatever, we leave and comeback late in evening to find that housekeeping still hadn’t gone by to clean our room and our toilet have overflowed so water was everywhere. Maintenance came right away but still hours went by with no clean towels. Called down and a nice lady apologized and brought up fresh towels and a new comforter and gave us a breakfast credit. The pool and gym were two big reasons I booked this for my kids and both were closed during our stay. My kids didn’t say anything to me but I saw the looks of disappointment and disgust several times in their face so I felt horrible and wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. I believe they are extremely short staffed and shouldn’t be operating until they have enough employees to keep up with their clients and hold themselves to Marriot standards because I felt like I was at a motel 8 and it’s heartbreaking to have wasted my hard earned money on them.

I’ve stayed at this property maybe a dozen times… Marriott Platinum members with approx 70 nights/yr at various Marriott branded hotels. Previous stays here have been as expected, but the last two times (including my current stay) really suck. My last three stays, the rooms have the windows screwed and glued shut, and they’re stuffy as heck with a weird smell. To make matters worse, our (first) room tonight had a broken AC with a hellacious screech coming from the blower (bad bearings) and the phone wires were pulled out of the handset. Called down from my cell phone and got switched to the only other room available… same damned problem! Funky smell, muggy (humid), warm, and screeching AC blower due to worn out bearings!! Of course, the windows in this room have been sealed, so no chance of shutting off the AC and just doing it old school. My handicapped wife is too tired to switch hotels at 2am, so I’m stuck here. Most important meeting of my life in six hours… I don’t get it… I can see other guests here enjoying open windows and the night breeze. Not me. The night front desk staff has always been super friendly each time. Seriously! No complaints there. Maintenance here REALLY sucks. I’ve come to expect so much better from Marriotts.

The bistro cafe food was the highlight of our stay! Sandra and Shelly were the sweetest. The service was always friendly and efficient. My compliments to Filó, the chef, she came out and introduced herself and asked how our food was and wanted to be sure we didn't need anything else. Of course breakfast was delicious! They also offer Starbucks drinks which was the cherry on top! Shelly was an awesome barista! I recommend the farmers breakfast bowel or the pancakes. The rooms were great! The pillows were nice and soft. Your head would just sink in and they were so comfy. There's a fridge and microwave in the room which is cool if you have leftovers from the night before and you want to save some money on food, you can re-heat! I like the blackout curtains as they allow you to sleep in on mornings if you need to. Overall, I have to say that the staff really was the best! They played a huge part in making our stay just that much better. The guy at the check in was also always smiling and friendly. I think his name was Ed..(I hope I am not butchering any names)

this was the most insulting and frightening hotel experience i could ever dream of having. so first off i check into my room and immediately i was bombarded with this overwhelming stench of male body odor, not like just a whiff of it. i mean it smelled as if a grown man hadn't showered for days and used no deodorant had just been occupying my room minutes before me, mind you this is about 11pm. upon entering the room the rest of the way i couldn't help but notice the TV was already turned on and sitting on the main menu as if left idle for too long. this too i found very strange, but it wasn't until i attempted to unpack my belongings that i discovered in the dresser drawers was another man's clothing i have never seen before, nor did i expect to stumble upon. instantly i felt a chill run up my spine, i began to worry if someone else was in the room with me, hiding, or maybe they had just left and would return any moment to find me and be angry as if i were intruding upon them by choice, would i be hurt? killed? i called my girlfriend who made the reservations over half a day earlier and she advised me to LEAVE AT ONCE!! to return to her and she would query the front desk, so i gathered my things and rushed down the hallway and out the lobby doors. about 30 minutes later her and i return. both awestruck at the idea that someone else could have been in there when i had opened the door, or may have returned to find me in the room they believed to be theirs, and upon bringing this to the attention of the front desk attendant we were both attacked verbally by not only the desk attendant but also who i believed to be the night manager "Kevin" they proceeded to imply we were lying and trying to get over on them somehow, even tho we remained perfectly calm and respectful they then moved further by forcing us to leave, just after midnight in a sketchy part of town they tossed us out into the night with threats of calling the police for "trespassing" leaving us to sit out the night without a room which we had paid for 12+ hours prior. they were the most rude and insulting staff i have ever had the misfortune of crossing paths with. i will surely be present first thing in the AM to speak with daytime management about this situation, but aside from that please do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THESE OVERPRICED MISLEADING ROOMS! the room looked nothing like the ad we saw and...

I wanted to share some feedback regarding our recent stay.

We were warmly welcomed by the front desk, and Ed in particular was fantastic—very accommodating and helpful throughout our visit. His service truly stood out.

However, we did experience a few issues that impacted our stay. On the morning of Saturday, August 2, I saw a housekeeper across the hall and politely asked for some bath towels. She didn’t respond the first time, and when I asked again, her response was dismissive and rude, saying she didn’t have any.

Later that evening, after our anniversary dinner, I called the front desk to request towels and toilet paper—mentioning there was no rush. After over an hour with no follow-up, I went down to the front desk. The staff member simply said “OK” and handed me toilet paper and floor towels. When I pointed this out and asked again for bath towels, I also mentioned the earlier interaction with the housekeeper. Unfortunately, my concerns didn’t seem to be taken seriously.

I requested that fresh towels be delivered by 9 a.m. the next morning, but none arrived. I had to call again. Thankfully, they did eventually arrive and were warm and fresh, which we appreciated.

Overall, our stay was pleasant, and we did enjoy the complimentary breakfast. However, it could have been warmer. By 10:15 a.m., the breakfast area was already being packed up, and several guests were still trying to order. When we asked why the digital menu options had disappeared, the staff member said it’s programmed for 10 a.m. on weekdays. She also mentioned she had to clean and close before her shift ended and wasn’t paid for overtime, which seems like an issue that affects both staff and guest experience.

I’d suggest reconsidering the breakfast cutoff time or at least ensuring there’s enough buffer for guests who arrive a bit later. If breakfast ends at 10 or 11, perhaps staff schedules could reflect that, so they aren't pressured to clean early while guests are still eating.

I hope this review helps improve the experience for...

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but felt this one was warranted. The person who checked me in was rude, made several rude comments. She was also unwilling to even attempt to print me out a receipt of the room cost that I needed for business purposes. I was told that if my husband wasn’t there shortly to show military ID she would charge me a regular rate, even though I had already told her he would be there soon. I was trying to be kind and helpful, not abrasive, but the rude attitude continued. On my way up to the rooms with luggage and several children I realized I had only been checked into one room. I don’t use credit cards so I thought the $180 they put as a hold on my card was both rooms, but when I went back I was informed that the hotel holds $180 on the card for each night, per room, plus paying for the cost of the hotel itself. I mentioned that was a very high rate and they assured me that the costs wouldn’t be held on my card after we checked out. It took over a week for the charges to drop off my card after our stay, which wasn’t a huge deal, but frustrating that they were dishonest. My husband came in later to show his ID and a manager happened to be at the desk. He showered and came back to the desk and a new person was working and printed out the cost sheet the original check in person said was impossible to do.

The parking at this hotel was awful. I was out until late in the evening. We drove around looking for a spot for 10 minutes, after settling on a spot, it took over 5 minutes to walk to the hotel in the dark, with children.

The rooms were not update, but seemed fairly clean, except the bathrooms, which were just dingy.

All of the staff in the halls were exceptionally kind though.

After this experience, I was emailed a form to rate our experience, which I did. I received a call from a manager to talk about our experience, I missed his call, and he left a message. I called him back, and it’s been weeks with no follow-up, or return call....
