I do not recommend this salon, let me explainâŠ
I called the day before to make an appointment to dye my hair from black to light ash brown. I asked them how much it would cost and he replied with $50, and explained further that he would have to bleach my hair. I agreed. The following day, to start, the workers brushed my hair from top to bottom which resulted in pulling my hair. Then they cut my hair. Everything was fine until they started to bleach my hair starting from the roots. It burned so much I asked the workers, âwas supposed to burn this badâ, they replied, âYes, some people burn and some people donât.â We continued, and it looked like the worker did not put enough bleach at the middle and end of my hair. They then wrapped it with plastic and left to work on another customer. After twenty minutes another worker named Tom came and added more bleach to the middle and end my hair. He told me it's not gonna lift like the way I wanted, and if it does it is gonna take five to six hours. Because it burned so bad, I wanted to get it over with. I told him to do what he can, I understand if I donât get the color for the first time. So he pinned up my hair and left to go work on another customer. I'm not sure how the worker tied my hair, but I was extremely uncomfortable the whole time, it felt like my hair bun was held together by a heavy metal pin. After my boyfriend asked how long it will take to finish, another worker came to wash the bleach out of my hair. When I got back to the chair, they blew dried and combed my hair. Then they put on another different chemical to turn my currently yellow hair at the scalp, and orange hair at the middle and bottom hair, into the color I wanted. The new chemical burned twice as bad than the bleach. It hurt so badly I panicked and dodged the workers hands. I asked Tom, âhow long do I leave the color/toner/bleach on,â (I'm not sure what it was, it looked like a chunky mix of lava and cheeto dust). And he didnât answer my question but said something else. It gave my scalp so much sharp intense pain that began to tear up. It got worse every time they applied more, and I began to bawl from how bad it was. I did not want to leave my hair bright yellow at the top and orange at the bottom half so I tried my best to remain calm. My mom came and told the workers that it burned, so they asked another woman to come to speed up the process. They left it on for five minutes then took me to go wash my hair again. I also noticed that every time they washed my hair. Afterwards, they wiped their arms and hands with a towel, then proceeded to use that same towel to dry my hair. Which seems pretty unsanitary. My mom followed me to watch the lady wash my hair, the woman then told my mom that my scalp was perfectly fine and there's no damage/burns. After they finished, they charged $155 for coloring and trimming my hair, even though the night before they told me it would be $50. Shortly after, we examined my hair and they burned my scalp resulting in blood patches all over underneath my hair. There is now a white line across my forehead from where the bleach was. Despite this at yet the woman said there's no damages or burns. when I felt my scalp, which was still burning at this point. I notice the hair texture near my roots was crusty and stiff like there was hair spray. That's when I realize the woman who rinse my hair did not wash the product out completely.
I have also taken photos of my scalp & forehead burns, but i am not sure...
