Mail forwarding request 3 months ago not upheld. They sent a letter stating it was processed, but never sent the mail. All packages that have been shipped from USPS have responded since I've been in my new location back to their original shipper. Stating the order couldn't be delivered due to access issues. And yet UPS, FedEx, Amazon and every deliver driver has access and have been able to deliver. I'm not sure why this many people have to have issues and yet no one has even assisted in the solution.
This may have to be escalated to the BBB as well as the local officials regulating this. I feel like they want this response or a class action rather than just deliver the mail...=\ Federal offense and negligence is what this honestly leads to.
1/20/2023: Placed another move of address as I changed states and STILL haven't had my mail relocated to my address...
At this point I'm going to have to get a lawyer.
5/15/2023: I got on a call with USPS in California and they checked my requests. Madison Heights is now mentioning they never received a change of address, but I've filed 3 when I was moving in Michigan, and 1 when I left. They forwarded the email to the office and they sent steps to request it again. When I put it into the system it mentions my request now requires in person approval ad barcode scan...to the Michigan location...
So if I can't bring it to an office here, and they tell me to file it again, then their system wants me to do it in person... I wanted this resolved on the call, but it's now a year in and they clearly do NOT CARE.

Read moreWent in person to discuss the whereabouts of a package that I presumed was lost. The clerks all gave a blanket first response to me without checking any tracking or anything and I was assured the package was "at our warehouse". When I had to call the warehouse myself to verify, I was informed it was not there. The clerks then told me it was with the hand carrier. I went home and caught my local carrier and asked and was told he did not have it. Returned to this store and was given attitude by the clerks and told "it isn't lost we just don't know where it is at currently". I was then told all they could do was provide me a phone number to file a claim. I understand mistakes happen, but if they had provided me the customer service from the start and actually assisted me in tracking down my package instead of making me do all the leg work, I wouldn't be as upset.
