So now it's polo shirts, LOL. What an absolute JOKE this supermarket has become. Poor management leading to disgruntled employees has just hit a new low with the issuing of ugly red polo shirts. Employees are issued TWO SHIRTS, then must buy their own if they want more, though I haven't heard one comment from any of the employees that would suggest anyone would want to. They must also buy the vest & jacket if they wish to keep warm, and they aren't cheap, unlike the owners. With what these employees are paid most can't afford to live, much less buy their own uniform. What a disgrace this store has become and it seems to only be getting worse. If you have a mind to apply for a job here, I would advise against it. They use and abuse their employees while underpaying them. Seems many are unhappy with one thing or another concerning products. Well, this is being written to mention something about the ownership of Inserra Supermarkets. If you look at the ownership, you'll have a better understanding of why produce is poor as well as some attitudes of the employees. The owners talk all about community and how they're all one big family. I say this is hogwash!!! The only thing these greedy owners care about is the bottom line, PERIOD!!! They have no regard for their customers or their employees, ESPECIALLY THEIR EMPLOYEES!!! They ask their cashiers to train new hires, give them nothing extra for doing so and to add insult to injury, they wind up giving more hours to the new hires. Do you know why? Because the new hires make less money, and that isn't saying much as this family is as tight with a dollar as any competitor out there. These phonies talk all about community, but in reality, they don't give a hoot about the community, only what the citizens of that community spend at their supermarket. I've never seen such a disregard for any employees as I've witnessed within these supermarkets. The higher ups sit in their cushy little offices AC running in the summer and heat blasting in the winter while down on the floor the cashiers either freeze or sweat profusely. And get this, the cashiers are told they're not allowed to drink anything while at the register. These poor people have to bear the burden of the heat due to a lack of AC and yet they're not permitted to keep hydrated. Isn't there some law being broken that OSHA should be made aware of? I think I'll give OSHA a call to find out. It's absolutely disgusting how this clan is so greedy for filthy lucre!!! Get your act together Inserra or you just might find yourself...

Read moreI frequently visit the Wayne shoprite and wyckoff location. First off the Wayne location is a disaster. There is never , I mean never a stocked shelf. It's like going to a third world country. Not to mention the produce that is not fresh nor stocked. I live in Wayne and I work in wyckoff area and visit this brand new location that doesn't have a big variety like most locations. Very limited. But well stocked and clean with too many employees. Oakland is a beautiful store as well as Lincoln park and Ramsey all well run. So what is it with the Wayne location? Every employee looks miserable and can't be courteous to customers. This store is going to be relocated to Wayne hills mall area and I hope it is an improvement and an upgrade cause when Whole Foods opens and there's still stop n shop and corrados all in that area more competitive. Inserna needs to get a grip on this store because management and owner are to blame for this incredibly poorly...
