Dollar Tree — Attraction in Maine Township

Whoever the manager is working tonight 2-3-22 needs some oversight (young/middle aged male with strong European accent). He walked over to the cashier checking me out and said “you can take out the garbage.”Then laughed and said “or if you want me to rephrase that, you can take out the garbage please”. And walked away laughing. Then when the cashier realized she did not have enough singles to give me my change back…she called for him (actually now that I think about it….I think his name was Alex)…he definitely heard her but ignored her (she asked very timidly as well because he has clearly been bullying her in the workplace)….she walked all the way over to him where he clearly saw her and he continued to ignore her. When she told him she needed singles for change he says “And? That’s not my problem”. She clearly looked uncomfortable….this was not a friendly or joking interaction. This is gas lighting and bullying in the workplace. Needs to stop immediately. She looked too timid or scared to ever stand up for herself so I hope someone from upper management will take...

Its not like me to post a negative google review. I attempted to call the store manager - they do not pick up the store phone, ever!! I also attempted to call corporate -and got put on hold for over 15 minutes.

This store has HORRIBLE customer service. I purchased 10 glasses. The store associate put 5 glasses in 1 bag with ZERO protection. Did not wrap any of the glasses! When I questioned it, she stated that she didnt have any newspaper and then pretended to look around for some. I quickly went to other cash wraps and found newspaper and paper towels. I had to assist the cashier in wrapping my own glasswear.

Had I left the bagging to the employee, my purchase wouldve been shattered by the time I made it home. UNREAL! Dishonest and lazy!

Never leave reviews. But when I was in line there was a customer (older man) that was mumbling remarks that made me uncomfortable as a woman. When a cashier (middle aged large man) opened up a cashier and urged people to move up. I hurried to check out my TWO items. The cashier yelled at me to get to the back of the newly formed line when no one complained I was at the front of. And I had to stand behind the man that made me uncomfortable again.
