My boyfriend bought me a beautiful pearl necklace and earring set from Riddles for our 1 year anniversary. I was beyond excited because I have never had real pearls before. Unfortunately my happiness for this set of jewelry did not last long. Only one week after I received these earrings I noticed my puppy was chewing on something. When I went over to check it took me a second to realize that it was one of the pearls from my earring. I checked and sure enough after only ONE WEEK the pearl popped off the earring back. I went to take the other one off to keep them together AND THE OTHER PEARL CAME OFF TOO. I was beyond furious, how are you going to sell us a $100 pair of earrings that don’t even last 1 week. We took them back to get them fixed the next weekend and when we gave them to the jeweler he said “ Good thing you got the premium coverage plan so you won’t have to pay anything”. So if my boyfriend hadn’t gotten the insurance he would have had to pay to fix a ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR PAIR OF EARRINGS after owing them for one week ..... anyways, the next day we went back to pick them up and they were fixed ..... or so we thought. Today in my office, after having them back for only 4 days, I tucked a strand of hair behind my ear and out falls a pearl from my hair. THIS JEWLER IS GARBAGE. Will never buy anything from here for as long as we live. I have had $2 earrings from Forever 21 last longer...
Read moreI know we have been in the middle of a pandemic, but how hard is it to keep your website updated with the correct days and hours of operation. My wife and I have been trying to bring a necklace (that we purchased the warranty on) in to have repaired for quite some time. We were using the websites posted days and hours of operation and the three times we came in the store was closed with no days or hours posted anywhere on the door of the store. I have called the store twice and left a message to please call me with the hours of operation and it has been over a week and no return call. I called the corporate customer care office and explained the situation. I was told according to the website the Manhattan Town Center store should have been open on the days and times we were there. The representative told me she would contact the district manager and call me back. Over a week and no return call. My wife and I have spent a lot of money at this store over the years but if this is any indication of how they will operate in the future I have bought my last piece of jewelry...

When we started shopping for my fiancés ring, every place before this one we got salesperson who seemed indifferent to his wants and/or their selection was a miniscule display. It honestly was frustrating because it shouldn't matter who is getting a ring, their wants should be listened to. We had almost given up hope after 6+ locations before we wandered into Riddle's and met Jon. We were first of all amazed at the huge selection of men's rings and then super impressed that he listened to every peice of feedback my fiancé gave him. We probably spent 2 hours going back and forth on metals, finishes, widths, weights, and contours before Jon helped him find EXACTLY what he wanted (and a 2nd ring for me to keep in mind for a future anniversary).
