Lancaster General Health Express — Attraction in Manheim Township

Took a visit for Lyme blood test. Called ahead to confirm pricing of Lyme test. I explained to the receptionist all I needed was the blood test for lyme. It was around 1:30 and was told to come back around 3 to see the doctor. I waited until my name was called. The doctor called me back and I explained I have already been to patient first when I first noticed the bite. All I needed was the blood test. I was told I can not get blood test because I have not been looked over by the doctor yet. I was then unwillingly charged for the visit and was told I couldn't get blood test because it was after 3:00. I went here for the first time today, 7/9/25, to have the twelve stitches in my forearm checked because I wasn’t able to get an appointment with my PCP. Wow! Was I ever happily surprised! Heather was my practitioner and did an outstanding job removing what was left of my dissolvable stitches. She was friendly, engaging, professional, and thorough, while also paying close attention to my questions and concerns. She went over and above what I expected. Apparently they can't do lab tests that an Out of network doctor orders. Had orders for blood work. One set from an in network doctor the other from an out of network doctor. Got test results back with only the in network doctor's orders. Called about it and was told I should of asked if they could do out of network...
