A Five-Star Experience at Manitou Winery
Walking into Manitou Winery feels like stepping into a dream—one where passion, community, and incredible wine come together in the most beautiful way. Eric, the owner and mastermind behind this place, is a man on a mission. You can feel it in every detail of the winery and most of all, in every glass of wine he crafts. This is his calling, his purpose—and he pours all of that love and energy into every bottle.
Eric’s passion for winemaking is contagious. When he talks about his process, you can’t help but hang on every word. This isn’t just a business to him—it’s his art. Malik, one of their standout wines, is the perfect example of that artistry. Made with locally sourced water, it has a depth and richness that feels completely unique to Manitou. The water brings a distinct, almost elusive flavor to the wine, and you can’t help but savor each sip. It’s one of those wines that stays with you long after you’ve left.
And then there’s Katherine, who works at the winery and brings incredible warmth to the experience. She has this way of making everyone feel welcome, like you’ve been coming here for years, even if it’s your first time. Her knowledge of the wines and her enthusiasm for what Eric has created make your visit even more special. She’s the kind of person who elevates the experience, turning it into something genuinely unforgettable.
The vibe at Manitou Winery is second to none. It’s cozy but sophisticated, lively but relaxing. You’ll want to settle in and lose track of time as you take in the stunning location, and each visit feels like an escape from the rush of daily life. Eric’s vision shines through in every corner, and Katherine’s presence makes sure everything feels just right.
This isn’t just a winery. It’s a place where passion and purpose come together to create magic. If you’re the kind of person who loves a great story and even better wine, this is your place. Eric isn’t simply running a winery—he’s creating something much deeper than that, and Katherine is the perfect guide to help you discover it.
I guarantee you’ll leave Manitou Winery with an incredible bottle (or two), but more than that, you’ll leave with memories and emotions that linger long after you’ve gone. Five stars? Absolutely. This is more than a winery—it’s an experience you don’t...
Read moreThe female employer of this establishment really doesn't seem bothered by the lack of professional and the idea to just be rude to whoever she serves. Was waiting for 5 minutes figured I would try and help and she popped out the right room look all shocked I was trying to find help. She looked at me with a look "I was just talking to my boss, sit over there and I'll be with you" with a unwelcome undertone. And she walked off to the back. I sat down and the employer walked up "how can I help" she leaned back on the counter. I gave my order out she didn't bother to repeat like Normal. She asked my sons I.D. flipped it back and forth thinking it's some fake plastic, even had to do the math to make sure it's legit. So far it feels unwelcome already. I asked for some of the halloween wine bottles. She looked at a face "leaning over the cabinet next to her" she mumbled, "there everywhere like I would know where" she didn't bother helping locating, as she walked to the back in quiet. So far I really don't feel welcome to this establishment and I'll never head back. Group of people was outside trying to get shade and she ran out yelling at them for moving a table over. By the lack of equality and educate. The guy, in a nice black apron and paisley shirt was very welcoming, helped me with my question I tried asking before. He was all laughing and cheery and happy with helping us, laughing about monstermaham! The guy I wasn't aware of his name, was amazing to help. The female lack the empathy and courtesy to be a little nice. The nice sweet man in the paisley saved the experience, if I came back and the female approached I would walk out. The wine of four tasting was good and the cheese plate was delicious. The truffles was a nice sweetness with the wine. Glad the guy with the paisley helped us. Definitely saved...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. My boyfriend and I were so excited to use our Groupon and finally go on a date again during this crazy time. The groupon said we needed reservations. We called made a reservation and specifically asked to sit on the patio. The person on the phone said no problem. When I arrived first the girl behind the bar had no mask on then when I approached she put on a piece of lace that had no barrier. I said we were there for a 5pm reservation she told me they had a table right in the front of the bar inside held for us. I explained we asked for outside seating and she said there was none available. I said ok I would just wait for my boyfriend to park and come in. Before he arrived she asked to take my Groupon. Once he arrived he questioned why we were not on the patio and if we could be moved there. (2 parties had left while I was waiting). We were told no it was first come first serve and I had already sat at the table inside. The policy was no changing tables. As we tried to explain that we really had already asked for outside seating and that I was just waiting and hadn’t ordered anything we were repeatedly cut off and told no we can’t sit outside. Both young ladies were extremely rude and would not even try to make it right or try to find a way to fix it. We left and it seemed they wanted us to leave and didn’t even offer an apology for any miscommunication. I will not be back it ruined what was supposed to be our first date night out in a long time. From now reading the reviews it appears a lot of Groupon people are treated poorly. Sad thing is we would have spent quite a bit on top of the Groupon. We always do. Worst customer service I have experienced. I will also make it a point to not recommend this place to anyone and we have a lot of friends and...
