Flying Eagle — Local services in Manitou Springs

Simply awesome customer service. I get there are dozens of places on this street selling about the same thing, during what I assume is a short operating season. Hats off to the crew here for being welcoming and approachable in the store without all the "are you going to buy that or not attitude".

Earlier in the day I did the Cog train to Pikes Peak. At the top I saw a Mountain Dude hoodie for $40. I liked it; but was rushed to catch the train and could not buy it based on the line and the sounding of the train's whistle.

As I endure a 90 minutes ride down I am searching Etsy, Amazon, and eBay for the same hoodie with no luck.

Stumbled into this store and got my hoodie and a matching theme for my wife. Two of them for about $50 as opposed to one for $40. I told them what I was looking for and bam! they made it for me right on the spot in well under a minute.

Wish I could give more than 5...

Went into buy some T-shirt with our cousin who’s was visiting before she left. She spent $75, me and my girlfriend were just hanging out while cousin shopped, out of no where the employee comes up and tells us we need to get out, tells us we can’t just be hanging out in the store, ok cool, we go out side as our cousin continues to shop, while waiting outside in the cold the guy decides to come out and tell us to leave the property, we were on the public sidewalk waiting and watching our cousin thru the door, at this point we ask why we were kicked out in the first place, he stated us making out in the store, which at no point did we make out. So what ever his problem was I’m not sure. But very disappointed. I live in manitou and will make sure to pass the word on to people. Aswell as being business owners in manitou and having family that works...

This place is okay, I feel like the atmosphere was better before COVID. I feel it was not as inviting as it once was. I took my little brother here to get him a t-shirt and when we received the change they handed us some money that looked very suspect. It looks more like drug paraphernalia than money. There was a little residue on one of them. We quickly exchanged it as soon as we could. I will be watching a little closer next time, and will not except it. They need to step there game up if they want keep a legitimate business model, and...
