Bought a pair of Ariat Hybrid Rancher H2O boots there back in September (5 months ago) didnt really start wearing them until mid October- Both soles are cracking and have caused these advertised "waterproof" boots to leak. I called The Boot Life to express my concern and was basically told that I could bring them in for an inspection but not to expect much help (maybe a slight discount on another pair of boots) as it has been too long for them to offer any warranty assistance- even with proof of purchase. In my honest opinion- if $200 footwear wont last a single season under casual wear and its due to an obvious manufacturer defect the retailer most certainly should be responsible. These people sell boots like used car salesman- you cant look at a single item without an associate right by your side telling you how "good" such and such item is and promising the world- This alone was an annoyance- I dont like being pressured into buying anything- now that they have my money and I have a problem with said boots their not so eager to offer much of anything... I try to shop local and support small businesses in the area and try to avoid major corporate stores when possible - with that being said- if I give you my hard earned money, at the very least I expect you to stand behind whatever im buying- especially something of this expense- No way would I buy another pair of boots from here after this- who would? You wont stand behind the first product- why would you offer any assistance on another pair? Keep your discount- I'll...
Read moreSo my husband and I used to shop here all the time however we went and got him a pair of work shoes to go back to work and we decided to take them back and get our money back because he learned he was gonna get a voucher we took him back they have a return policy and everything was within the guidelines they told my husband no since he had worn them. He had not worn them the only time he put him on his feet is when the gentleman made him sit down and try Em on and walk around the store in Em. They couldn't give his money back but the crazy thing is we found out that none of their shoes are brand new every shoe that they sell is on display so you're buying a shoe that a million other people has tried on to put their foot in. I'm not even mad that we didn't get our money back he kept them plus he's getting a voucher but we will never shop here again when I go buy $200 plus pair of work shoes I want them to be brand new I don't want them on other people's feet. So instead of saying wait a minute let me check to see if we had that size they don't because they don't stock shoes in the back they come and bring you the empty shoebox that the display shoes that you're getting ready to overpay for goes in that's all you're getting from the back. SO BACK TO THE PAINTED COW GIRL WE GO && ARE GOING TO STAY... I tried sharing the love in between stores but when you treat a customer like that knowing that what you're selling isn't brand new we can't...
Read moreI went to The Boot Life on a recommendation of a friend just to try on a pair of boots that I ordered online, the owner and his family were eager to help and educate me on the different styles of boots that had in their store. through listening to the information he was giving me, it became clear that boots I had ordered looked good but probably were not the right fit for what I wanted. Throughout the entire process I was given honest and accurate pros and cons to each boot I tried on, till I found a pair that fit like a glove. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a good pair of boots. In the end I purchased a pair from The Boot LIfe and will be returning my...
