I had such HIGH hopes for this restaurant. After hearing and trading all if the amazing reviews, I was let down once again. My first visit , I ordered the tacos w/sauce on the side. (never received the sauce on the side after asking twice) The server asked me if I enjoyed the food, and I expressed my concerns. She told me I should try the Buffet. I went to the buffet today(9/18/23) arriving @11a, assuming everything would be hot and fresh. I was soooo wrong! Everything was cold except the meat kabobs. The dumplings were dry, I'm so glad I had a WMFD voucher and did not pay full price! A bit of advice, put booking hot water in the bottom tin , then place the food in the too tin and finally add the warmer flames to keep the food to temp. I couldn't make it home fast enough, my stomach is In shambles! Hopefully, this won't happen to anyone else. P.s. With my sister-in-law being born and raised in the Philippines, I NEVER eaten any of the foods listed on the buffet. And for the chicken soup with elbow noodles and cream sauce.. Yeah, I think y'all made that one...
Read moreI love good Filipino food. I was pretty excited to try this place. It's where Fork and Fingers used to be. I love chicken Adobo and was pleased to see it on the menu. My girlfriend ordered the Pancit. While both dishes were edible, they just weren't on par with other Filipino restaurants I've tried. The chicken in her pansit was almost assuredly the same chicken in my adobo. The pansit noodles looked like a Hamburger Helper quality meal. Not at all what I've come to expect and I didn't see any clear noodles. We also had to ask for lemon wedges, which is part of Pancit. My adobo wasn't marinated or cooked in the sauce or, if it was, not long. The sauce was a watered consistency and not very flavorful. Overall just really disappointed. There are much better Filipino...
Read moreThe food is fantastic! So much so in fact we went back twice in a day (lunch and dinner) because I wanted to take my husband (who spent a month in the Philippines). It was slow at lunchtime on a Friday and I thought since the place was new it would be the same at dinner. I was wrong and due to last minute Call off of one of the servers we had a lengthy wait. Definitely will go back just not on a busy weekend. Do yourself a favor and check this place out and try something new and absolutely delicious. Lunch we had chicken pancit and the pork kebab (made a meal out of it a side of rice and the lunch special salad). For dinner we had the shrimp kebabs dinner, Pork belly special, and chicken adobo, and lumpia. I recommend any of...
