We are from out of town and decided to check this place out since it was one of the top rated restaurants in the area. I read on another review about staff not being friendly or "bubbly" and I could agree slightly but that doesn't mean they were rude or poor servers. We came as a party of 6 and they got us a table ready right away and it wasn't that bad of a wait for our food to come out. All our food came out together and it was all hot and fresh and that's not even bragging about the food quality. The handcut fries are amazing all on their own and worth going just for that. We all got something different and we all loved the food. Only bad thing is they ran out of cornbeef so I had to get turkey on my Ruben burger but it was actually really good. Will definitely go back if I am in town.

Great food, service, and atmosphere. We started with an order of onion rings and fried mushrooms. The onion rings were the best onion rings I've had in a while. The people who ate the fried mushrooms said they were delicious. The batter on the fried mushrooms was crisp, light, and didn't make the mushrooms soggy. The fresh cut french fries were very good. Others who I was with enjoyed the Reuben sandwich and an amazing hamburger. We sat at the bar, and the service was spectacular. The restaurant was very clean, including the restrooms. All of the staff that we interacted with seem to be enjoying their job and serving the customers. We will definitely return to Uncle John's Place when we next visit Mansfield.

Cozy pub with tasty imaginative burgers ranging from the Italian Stallion I ordered that includes salami and a house Italian dressing to the cheese steak burger. Fries are hand cut. Both my son and I had the Italian Stallion. Wife had the Naked in the Park, a sprawling mess of homefries topped with peppers, shaved ribeye steak, cheese with a Sunnyside up egg on top. Burgers are juicy so get ample napkins. The food was good and relatively inexpensive. (Meal for 3 under $35 pre-tip). As the place is small, expect a wait if you're coming on Saturday night. Also, parking is not readily available but you can use free downtown parking and walk approximately 5 minutes to the restaurant. No dessert menu..

Husband and I popped into Uncle Johns to try the burgers we heard so much about. And they did not disappoint. These burgers melt in your mouth. Portion size for a great price. So delicious, the flavor was like smashing! 👏❤. Cooked just the way I love my burgers. The ladies behind the bar are super, friendly, talk with us like we had been going there for years. My kind of place. It isn't a large dinning area, but the nostalgia here, worth the trip inside. Some really nice art work on display, just go check it out. This little gem sits on the West corner of downtown Mansfield. Grab a burger at Uncle John's when you get the chance. You love big juicy, well seasoned burger, this is worth the visit.

First visit today was recommended by many said the food was great and they had the best chicken around. The food was horrible very bland no flavor the chicken is definitely not the best KFC is better and that's saying a lot. The only good thing was the mushrooms but they're not worth going back. The service was not bad but it wasn't good either the server was okay not very bubbly. If you're someone who gets cold very easily like me I wouldn't recommend going they keep it very cold in there with their ceiling fans. I mean the place wasn't horrible I've certainly had worse was just very unimpressed. I don't see us going back.

Been awhile since i revisited mansfield since moving away. Grew up here so its nice to see an establishment as tasty as this readily available. Went at lunch, wasnt too much of a wait at all. Got a cup of beef veggie soup with a cheese steak burger while my buddy did the reuben burger with a plate of fries being shared between us. Plenty of fries for one order n the burgers tasting magnificent. Dont be fooled, they offer so much more than just burgers. Service was good, friendly n the place was clean. Definitely recommend n revist...
