Ordered lunch here today. First time visiting, and I've been wanting to get lunch here for a while. I called in my order for pickup. The young lady was pleasant to speak with and took my order quickly.

I ordered two coney dogs with slaw, fries, and a piece of Dutch apple pie. For starters, the coneys are spot on. The coney sauce has great, nice soft buns, and the slaw is just the right amount of sweet to make these some of the better coneys I've had in a long time.

The fries were ok, but seemed a bit dull. They weren't crunchy, but they also weren't soggy. They aren't thin cut, nor are they thick cut. Very basic and boring. Maybe they could have been fired a little longer to get more crisp to them.

The Dutch apple pie was good. Comparing it to a Dutch apple at most places, this would be a step up most assuredly. That being said, I wouldn't put it up against my favorite pies from some of my favorite Amish restaurants, such as Boyd & Wurthmann.

For $15, I think the price is a little steep for the quality. But it's not the worst deal in town?

Will I be back? Yes, for the coneys. But I'll get something other than the fries, and will probably just skip the pie for some homemade cookies I made...

Ordered the half order of biscuits and gravy. Looked delish. However, the gravy had the consistency of icing. Was very bland. Not sut3 if it was gravy or the biscuits or a combo of the two but it tasted like floury chalk. Was highly disappointed. Order the spaghetti and garlic toast off the kids menu for my three year old. They brought a plate of spaghetti big enough to feed two adults. They need to get the kids portions fixed to an appropriate size. Didn't get comped for the sausage and gravy meal although I did let the server know that I didn't like it at all. Their soda tasted a bit watery. Being almost 9 months pregnant it was hard enough to fit in the booth comfortably but I managed because it was more comfotable than a normal chair. The guy behind me for in the booth seat that matched up to my side and insisted on leaving back to the point that it made me lean forward and be pressed into the table the whole time. Let server know. She did nothing. Kindly asked the guy to not lean back as he was pushing my stomach into table (explained the pregnany) guy told me to eff off. Very displeased. Was my fist time there. Now, my only time there. I...

Update: 10/23/2018 ~ Returned again, and had another waitress that was very attentive and pleasant. I had Coney Dogs footlongs and they were amazingly delicious!! This place has went from 1 star to 5 stars in my review within a month period. Sweet!

Update: 10/18/2018 ~ I returned at the request of someone I know that lives in the area and I am actually glad I did. I had a different waitress who was very attentive, polite, not in a rush and I ordered some chili cheese fries (I think) and enjoyed them! Must've been a bad day the first time, but in this business there shouldn't be any bad/off days. I would return again.

Original Review: Worst service ever! After 30 minutes my food was still not done. People that came in after me had burgers and all well before I finally got up to walk out.

Coffee was good. That is all I can say good about...

Food was good but service was ridiculously slow. When we got here we were the only ones in the restaurant. We were greeted quickly and our order was taken quickly but it took sooooooo long to get our food. I honestly don't know how it could have taken so long, fried food and hot dogs don't take 20 mins to cook. Then we ordered ice cream and watched the waitress stop making it to serve another customer. Overall good food at a good value but based on the service I doubt we'll be back.
