A Wonderful Family Experience at The Man House Museum!

We had such a great time at The Man House Museum during their recent Hands-On History event! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially while helping our kids build their own kites. They were so patient and enthusiastic, taking the time to explain everything and even teaching the kids how to fly their kites.

It’s not every day you find a free event that’s both educational and fun for the whole family. We really appreciate the effort that went into organizing it and making it such a special experience. We’re already looking forward to the next Hands-On History day. Can’t wait to see what’s in store!

My mom, daughter, and I visited this museum while my mom was visiting us recently. We happened to be the only people there at the time, so we were treated to a private tour by a wonderful and knowledgeable docent. The docent was fantastic - very patient with all of my young daughter's questions, gave an engaging and educational tour, and even included a few personal anecdotes of her experience with the house itself. If you are a history buff then I highly recommend. My friend and I arrived 20 minutes before closing. We asked if we could get a tour. They said, "A quick one" and I said "We'll take it". A nice, really informed young lady gave us an amazing tour of the Man House which included an interesting history of Mansfield.
