A downtown treasure! I highly recommend stopping by if you get a chance.

Due to it being small, seating is limited. What's pretty neat about it is that even though they have some small tables, the larger ones (seats 8 or so) you just share with other patrons. Okay, you have to if you want to stay & sit 🙂 but this is the vibe that a coffeeshop should be... like you don't feel like your personal space is invaded. There is also seating outside, both in the front & back.

I'm not sure how it's always decorated but it was very patriotic, maybe since we celebrate Independence Day in July. Whether it's seasonal or like that all the time, I liked it. Very cute!

Huge drink menu, it can be overwhelming but I loved it. I'm a coffee person but for someone who isn't its very detailed & explains what each type of drink is (like my friend asked what is a cortado) with something for everyone. There are some snacks there too. They have some creative drinks & a seasonal menu they also have displayed by the register. They have their menu printed & copies at the register so you can browse though at your own convenience. Sugar free options made me super happy!

Purple Rain - lemonade & I think butterfly pea tea? Pretty! Iced sugar free caramel latte - great bold coffee taste Hot sugar free caramel sugar free mocha latte - this was perfect

The staff was super sweet, if they get the chance they'll bring your drink to where you are seated. They look like they have fun working together.

Busy place, as it should be! We were there until close (which is why some of my photos show many empty tables, I took pics as were were leaving) but was happy to see others were stopping in to order coffee to go up until the very end, the staff seemed happy to oblige!

Add this to your list, you...

Cortados are amazing and this shop has brilliant ones that are complex, bursting with a million flavors, creamy, and satisfying. They’re small and really hot on purpose so don’t worry.

Best Latte In Town! The espresso is between medium and dark roast, like fire-toasted graham cracker and almonds. Smooth, velvety, medium-body. Delicious. I get a plain latte and love it. Their flavored drinks are fantastic as well. I love trying the new month’s highlights! Fast, delightful service.

Update: been coming every week since, and I’ve never been disappointed. It’s not easy to be that consistent, but they are. Love this place!

What went down: First time for me here, and I see they have a Butterbeer latte listed on the cool, glowy markerboard thingy. I order and ask if hot or cold is better (barista said cold; barista was correct) and THEN, the barista asks me—completely dead-pan, like it’s a thing you ask people—“would you like it dyed to match your house color?” 😳 đŸ€Ż 😼 ❀ “Of course!” “Okay, what house?” “Ravenclaw.” “Blue it is. Coming right up.” đŸ˜” 💀 It was delicious. I’m coming back forever. My Queen had the Rainy Day drink and it was also amazing. I also loved that this wasn’t the typical super-noisy coffee shop, which means it’s actually nice to be in there, and I didn’t come home all loud...

I've been coming here since they opened, and I've always loved it! The staff is so so kind. I stopped in recently to get a coffee & visit with my sister, and when we opened the door there were a ton of people inside (not unusual) but there were also cameras and lights, something was being filmed right in front of the counter. The director rudely told motioned for us to shut the door, and I think the shock on our faces made him realize we just wanted coffee. We quietly ordered and waited while they filmed, but realized there was 1) no where to sit because of the huge lights taking up a whole table 2) we wouldnt be able to talk because of the filming, so we just left. I thought maybe I missed an update on their social media, but saw nothing. I was really upset with how the people filming treated us, especially being loyal customers of the squirrel. I hope next time they do something so invasive during store hours, they have some kind of update so I can avoid it...

This place has more five-star reviews than most. What does this imply? Enough people recommend it. It’s worth a try. No fear of regret. I can’t remember what coffee I ordered, but it was mainstream. Nothing out of the ordinary. I think it was a mocha cappuccino. My wife tried the orange-flavored Edgar Allan Poe. I liked mine. She did not. I guess it shows the risk of trying new drinks. There's not much choice in food. We ordered a blueberry muffin. Good, but nothing special. I would stick to the coffee. The staff were friendly. The father of the owner was a pilot. This is where the name came from. This is why, there's aviation decor. For me, it’s the atmosphere which stands out. Full of eclectic objects with an aviation theme. Yet, it was cozy. It feels like the opposite of a modern cafĂ© like Starbucks. Everyone I saw seemed relaxed. It’s a quiet place to escape. Bring your laptop and chill out.
