Zero stars if I could but I’ll give one star for the complimentary beverage. When I arrived for my appointment I was never greeted or acknowledged. Other clients were checking out so just a “We will be right with you” would have been great. We had a party of 4, my party arrived before me so they were seated first. There was a tablet for sign in, I signed myself in. Stood around for a few minutes and then went to the lounge/waiting area as I didn’t want to keep standing there in the way. 10-15 minutes past, still nothing. I decide to just walk over to my party where then finally a tech says, have a seat.
I got the Fire walker pedi, felt like the whole pedi was rushed and and they did not do a thorough job cleaning my toe nails. The tech completed my gel polish THEN went back to trim more cuticles, cut my nails again, and filed the free edge!! All of that should have been done prior to polish. When completed, I glanced at my nails and was told to put on my shoes.
At a glance it looked fine, I was last so I didn’t want to keep my party waiting for me. When I arrived at home, taking a closer look was upsetting. A whole section of my big toe was not polished, just a sloppy job overall. Clearly quantity over quality. Disappointed and will...
Read moreI gave this place two tries and unfortunately, both were very unsatisfactory. The salon itself is neat and clean but not worth the bad service.
Pa did my dip nails with my first visit. She didn’t even clean my cuticles. She also got fuzz on two of my nails, tried to clean it, but the fuzz remained, so I was left with an indentation and fuzz on my thumb. Just sloppy. It also really bothered me that she was on her phone so much while doing my nails. I do not want to give my time and money for someone to be texting on their phone throughout an entire service.
On my second visit, I was more hopeful. I paid for an upgraded “fire” manicure with Angelina. She was really quick, didn’t clean my cuticles very well and also didn’t let the gel cure properly, so it started to crack and peel off after 2 days. Massage from her was nice but short for an upgrade service.
Unfortunately I tipped them both for their service, but I won’t be going back. Maybe some of the other techs are better but my experience has...
Read moreBeaute Contour has been my go-to nail salon for several years, but I don’t think I’ll be back after today.
I came in for acrylic removal and a gel manicure. The acrylic removal was painful and aggressive to the point where blood was drawn on one of my nails. At that point, my tech finally soaked my nails in acetone (who doesn’t love acetone on an open wound?!), which made the removal process much easier - why didn’t we start there?
When that was finally over, she rushed through my manicure, did not shape them well (note unevenness in photos), left messy edges, and when I got out into the sunlight, I could see how uneven the polish was - bumpy and even left visible bump marks! I’d already left the salon, and I know they don’t offer refunds after you’ve left. I’m a very non-confrontational person, so I didn’t turn around to complain, but I’m shocked that any professional nail could look at that work, think it’s good, and send a client...
