I had a very bad experience at this store. I was shopping for a gift. When entering the store, the caucasian older manager woman looked at the door as I came in. The doorbell went off. The store was empty. I was the only one in there. TWO other women came in and each were greeted. So, I let the manager know it bothered me she greeted other customers and not me. Her response was "I didn't see you". I told my husband she had mistreated me when entering. When I was on the phone with my daughter asking a size question, I was telling her about my experience. The manager came over by me and told me I could not explain to my daughter the way I was treated. She states "I was bashing her". I explained I was having a conversation with my daughter, that I would be purchasing a jacket. I was told to leave the store. I've read the reviews and see that women have complained about rude service. All these women were non-caucasian women. To have a manager treat you like you're less than her simply because you have different colored skin is deplorable. I will put it out everywhere not to shop here. She should have hold herself together and not let her dislike for others come through. Shame on her!

Read moreI had shopped at this location before but I guess they have some new workers there. The last 2 times, I went in workers decided they wanted to follow me all over the store. The final straw was when I went in on Black Friday and I was followed. I purchased my items and went out the door and the worker told me she needed my bags to check. I let her check my bags and then she looked puzzled when I said to go right ahead. Not once have I ever shop lifted from any place and I got disrespected in such a manner. Do not racially profile people. They did not know I worked in Law Enforcement and could have shown them my badge and business card. I will now go to another location.
In response to the owners comments, I did not hear an alarm go off. If it did, I would have turned around and said something. Also, the lady at the register took off the tags of the things that I had sensors on because I watched her. I was also asked if they could check the jewelry that I purchased and that didn't even have sensors. Folks just wanted to check my bags. Said something on facebook and barely even got an apology. Watch the prices too. I've worked for clothes mentor and I know the pricing system. Multiple times ive seen items in maple over priced. Edina is selling a Miu Miu purse for $85. Maple is selling an outlet kate spade purse for only $20 cheaper then it retailed for over the summer at $140. Buyer beware. Their also not afraid to block you for informing them an item is being sold at regular retail price.
