Down In The Valley — Attraction in Maple Grove

Always and forever, my safe space in Maple Grove (born on the wrong side of the tracks FORREAL LOL).

I thank every staff member and Down In The Valley in general for always providing me with music, trinkets, and tombs that would have to be traveled very far to get.

I went in today to get my favorite things. Made one purchase, and then had my card declined for my trinkets and things. Instantly, I just got to put them on hold since I'm a rewards member.

I love you guys for real. Even if I was a naughty teen back in the day... LOL. Musicians amirite??!

Please don't think of this as a place to get glass and "drug" related items. This is a record store and place to heal the mind and soul. Every interaction you have here will have some twinkle of soul in it.

Highly recommend coming here for incense, real Native sage, records, CDs, KPOP Albums, posters, and knick knacks out the kazoo ;)

You can also find hand stitched hemp made clothing, sustainably made, and at REASONABLE prices. The posters, stickers, pins, and goods blow my mind every time.

they do have a great selection of things in the store, however i did not have a good customer service experience. The staff immediately gave me off putting looks and asked for my bag, which i understood due to the policy. However when i was shopping around a staff member came up to me and a friend and tried to ask for ID when we were looking to purchase completely unrelated products and i did not have my ID because he took my bag. They had then stood behind us watching us the rest of the time after until we got up and started looking at other parts of the store. I went to purchase a bag they were selling but was told that i actually could not, so i was told that and had to ask for my bag while feeling rushed out of the store. Not a good first time experience...

I went in to purchase a PAX handheld vaporizer. The atmosphere was awesome.

I was carded, along with the rest of my group when we reached the "smoking" area (I'm 22, just so you know) so make sure if you plan on buying anything from the back area, you are 18 with your license.

The girl showed me how to use the PAX and care for it, which was awesome. She signed me up for the free reward system and I walked away with my PAX.

The only thing I didn't like was their return policy on some of the smoking items, but it is...
