AR Workshop Maple Valley — Attraction in Maple Valley

Hat burning: I was disappointed with the selection of hats and the colors available when I went. They ran out of 3 different options I came prepared to accept and when you pay $60+ for just the hat it would be nice to be able to select what you want. EVERYTHING else on the hat is an extra cost so you walk out of there paying a lot more than you expect, and you cant even get water for free, that cost too!.

For clarification. I was not a last minute registration. In fact I scheduled a date night with a friend for this event and we planned this in advance. Telling me you can order another color and I can come back another day to do it is a terrible experience as a customer. This would’ve meant I and my friend would have had to leave and come back another day after planning this event in advance.

I also mentioned water (not snacks) giving someone water shouldn’t be a luxury, even restaurants offer it for free.

We attended the Spring break camp in 2024, that was supposed to be lasting for 4 days, for 2.5 hours per day. After we registered, we got a message that the camp is going to be cut by 1 day due to the teacher leaving to college. The camp organizers said that they are going to complete all 4 projects in 3 days. Although all the projects were completed, what really bothered us as working parents is that the business owners didn’t offer to parents a partial refund or credit towards future purchases. In my opinion, spring and summer camps serve as a care facility for kids and if the hours of care are not provided, a partial refund is expected. I reached out to the business but instead of treating my concern, they sent a general message to all the parents saying that they could have cancelled the camp instead, but they decided to have it anyway, basically saying that they did everybody a favor. Took my mom here for a chunky knit blanket workshop and my mom was very concerned she wasn’t going to be able to learn how to do the knitting— Tammy was so encouraging and inspiring to my mom throughout the entire workshop and worked hard to build a rapport with her and make sure she enjoyed her time here.
