Eagle River Interiors — Local services in Maple Valley

Four years ago we purchased custom automated blinds for our home. One of our, very expensive, slider blinds stopped working almost right away. Fast forward four years and many, many, many service calls; we still have blinds which do not work. After being asked ridiculous questions like, "how are you using your blinds?" And being dismissed as if we were incapable of using blinds which require no physical manipulation. A Hunter Douglas representative came to our home and declared, in fact, the motor burned out and the blinds interior strings were faulty. That was three months ago. Not not once, in three months have we had a phone call. Or an email after our numerous attempts to contact Ann Taylor, the owner. Customer service after your purchase is nonexistent. UPDATE!!! Just kidding, no update. We are still sitting here waiting for something, anything to happen. We are moving forward with an alternative way of dealing with a four-plus year old contract which has not...

Update: Since my first review I had had very good communication and responses from Eagle River and their installers. They came out and fixed the spots on the floor a few months ago; today we had them out again for one more adjustment. Both times they arrived early, finished the job quickly, and are always polite. Ann has been really quick to help. They were here within 24 hours of me contacting her this last time. I am very appreciative and still love the floors. It’s been a much better experience. First review: Really disappointed in the lack of communication. We expressed a concern over several spots in our floor installation and it took over a week to hear back; I replied to set up a time to have them come look and have never heard from them again. The product is nice but once they got our deposit/final payment it’s like we weren’t important enough to communicate with anymore. Calls and emails take forever to be...
