I have been waiting for an Indian restaurant since I moved to maple valley 10 years ago, and I was desperate not to have my hopes dashed.
I have visited twice. The first time I came, it was takeout only, and it was very obvious that the person working the kiosk and taking orders was new at it. I had to ask multiple times how many things had nuts, but overall the man was very sweet and accommodating, and didn’t make me feel bad. They gave us complementary cups of chai. The food was delicious. Naan was cheap, and very small and crumpled up in the foil. It was decent, but not great enough for me to ever order again. The two curries we ordered were delicious, but at different spice levels, even though we ordered them both at a 2. Overall, I was surprised at how flavorful and good everything was. The chai was bland and tasted like sweet milk, I would pass on that.
The second time we came to visit, the man at the counter seemed fairly competent, and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. We ordered the lamb biryani, and the paneer butter masala. Both dishes were sizable and so, so delicious. The butter chicken is fairly spicy (at a 2), probably too spicy for someone who is sensitive to heat, but for me, it was perfect. The lamb was tender and rice was seasoned so well, and the portion was large. Two entrees felt like enough for 4 people.
At the end of our meal, the man who took our order came and offered dessert. We declined, but he kept offering saying it was a fresh batch for the week and encouraged us that it would be good. I got the impression that he was offering it to us for free, since they have a pay when you order system, and we had already settled the bill. The desert was a bread pudding with saffron, and it was good. As we were leaving, a woman at the counter reminded us that the man had not asked us for payment, and that we needed to pay. Of course we promptly paid, but it was slightly awkward since he had pushed it and we had thought it was complementary. We said we loved the food and without expression she asked us to leave a review.
Overall, the food is excellent! Avoid the naan and chai, but everything else has been perfect. No table service is provided. They give you compostable, disposable plates and utensils if you dine in, and signs on the table request you clear your own table. It feels like a cafeteria, so not a date night spot, but the food is very good and worth the stop. I will be back again. Thank God we finally have a decent Indian restaurant in...

The staff at Masala Melody were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We started our meal with the crispy cutmirchi , which were bursting with flavor and paired wonderfully with the tangy tamarind chutney. For the main course, I ordered the butter chicken, and it was simply divine! The rich and creamy sauce was perfectly spiced. We kicked off the meal with the Masala Melody Gobi appetizer, which was bursting with flavor—crispy and perfectly spiced. The Chicken 555 and Apollo fish was another standout, offering a delicious balance of heat and savory goodness that had me craving more.
The Andhra Chicken 65 was, hands down, the best I’ve had in a long time—the texture was incredibly crisp and perfectly cooked, making each bite satisfying. For the main course, we enjoyed the Restaurant Special Chicken Biryani, which did not disappoint. It was rich in flavor, fragrant, and served at the perfect temperature, leaving me looking forward to my next visit.
