Bought the Power Up Pro rewards subscription. The cashier (Ashley) made a typo entering my email. Now my subscription and rewards points are linked to a non existent email/account I can not access. I call the store the next day, manager doesn't even bother getting on the phone and tells the cashier "Give him the number for Customer Service." (Heard him in the background, highly unprofessional)
Customer service is terrible. The "representatives" are all of foriegn countries which made the communication beyond struggling and difficult. They couldn't understand my situation at all, after 3 calls, 4 hours of different "Reps", and spelling out every detail for them. I'm promised an email or phone call after 24 hours with another "rep" that will assess my problem.
1 week later. I haven't had an email or phone call. My guess is that they're emailing the wrong email thanks to Ashley's typo. Still not able to access to my points or subscription. Not...
Read moreA couple months ago I bought a XboxOne controller from gamestop, I went all in and bought the warranty. Last week the controller started to be a dink and stopped working properly. So I went into gamestop with the controller and two games to sell them. I wanted to exchange the controller, however, they said that neither my name or my phone number were in their files. So much for the warranty. They said they would buy the games (two high end popular games in great condition) offered to only give me six buck for both of them. Six buck total! I was annoyed to say the least, so I said sure, determined to get my money and leave. I was handed the stores instore credit card, with six dollars on it, NO CASH! I wouldnt have agreed if I knew it was instore credit. The cashier told me "dont lose this, its just like cash" which added to all the insult, cuz, no its not like cash!

Read moreMy experience with GameStop tonight was poor. I went in to buy Platinum manhunter and reverse flash. I was told by the store employee that they had to check and see if they were in stock. Once they confirmed they had the figures he said he had to go find them because he didn’t know where they were in the back. Once he came out from the back with the figures, one of the other employees that was working there peaked over the guy that was helping me as they were ringing me up , the other employee said that the Reverse Flash was on hold for his friend and couldn’t sell it to me . I should note this was at 8:30 and the store closes at 9.
I’m not very thrilled about my experience tonight at the GameStop store and i am aware of the hold policy, The guy who said he was holding it for his friend didn’t even know they had it in stock. I would be talking to the store...
