We ordered $85 in take out. Service was terrible upon picking it up. My husband went to the counter and said he had an order to pick up. The woman at the counter pointed and said it’s over there. He went and got it himself. Paid and left a $10 tip. Upon getting home realized we didn’t get the cream cheese wontons we ordered. My husband called and stated what happened. The girl on the phone said ok can you come back and get them? My husband stated that he would rather just get a refund. She asked for his phone number and said he would get a refund. A few minutes later the owner called my husband and asked what happened. My husband told him the wontons were missing. The owner said are you sure they aren’t there? Asked if we could come get them. My husband said no, I’d rather just get a refund. Owner said why? Don’t you live near by? My husband said no not really. Can I just get a refund? Owner proceeds to tell him they have no way to refund money. Baffled, my husband says ok well maybe next time I come in I can get them. Owner asks do you know when you’re coming? Ummm no? My husband has been in the restaurant business for 30 years. If you can go into the system and adjust a tip you can certainly do the same and issue a refund. He was rude and acted like we were trying to scam him for the less than $10 price of the wontons. Aside from that the sesame chicken was chewy and old, and the eggrolls were burnt and black on the outside. They have lost us as a loyal customer. We have previously spent a lot of money there but we won’t be back...
Read moreI ate here on a whim, as I was wanting Pho and did not know a Vietnamese style restaurant was in this area. The decor is nice and they nice booths...The sever was not very bright regarding my questions about Pho options and if there was flank too in the Pho Tai...They only a few options, which was suprising...And the server seemed perturbed for me.wanting to know about their menu. My Pho was was very skimpy on the broth, and meat, which bothered me and I had to ask the server to fill the bowl to the top, as I really like that extra broth at the end...Again, he seemed like I was asking him to roll out the red carpet...I guess nobody complains and is always happy, long time. The Pho itself was so bland and with very little onion and dried peppers and no lime wedge, it waa like eating watered down beef broth...Sorry excuse of Vietnamnese Pho and food...I have had a ton og Pho, from many different places coast to coast and this was probably the worst...tasting and lacked any quality...Not worth the $9 I payed for it...Under normal circumstances I would have gone somewhere else, but it was a needed Pho craving...Another woman walked in after me and had Pho and it did not seem she enjoyed her meal. The service was under par and the food is cheap and not done with a lot of thought with the Pho...No thanks. Will not be...
Read moreUpdate: Decided to try this place again and was disappointed. Got the “pad Thai” again, which I knew wouldn’t be pad Thai, but it was even more strange/different (and bland) than the last time. No flavor and undercooked noodles, or possibly had been cooked earlier and sat out too long and dried out. The photo of the fried rice showed small chopped veggies, and when we got it, it had nothing but meat, rice and a few bean sprouts. Lo men was a huge portion but very, very bland. Won’t order again. All the positive reviews must be people who don’t like spice, seasoning or flavor.
Original review: We ordered takeout on a weekday. The place was very busy but the staff was friendly and fast. The food was a bit disappointing. We eat a lot of authentic Asian food and don’t like things that are Americanized. I ordered pad Thai and received pad se yew / drunken noodles. It was good, so I can’t ding them for that.y partner ordered three pepper beef and it was very bland, lacking flavor and spice. The vegetables were too raw. The cream cheese wontons and egg rolls were excellent, though. Will try it again and order some different...
