I decided to give this place a try due to its reviews. I do not understand how they have so many good ratings. During my pedicure, I had one person take off the old gel. She would ask me to bring one foot up while the other stayed in the water, but her tone was annoyed/condescending. A second person came over to paint my nails, which I thought was odd. After she finished painting my toes, she said “bye have a great day.” However, I had scheduled an appointment for a fill too. I told her that I had an appointment and was told that she would be the tech to do it. She said she had to ask her manager…. She tells me to go to her station. She asks if I want a coffin shape, and I said yes. (My nails were a modified coffin. Not super narrow). She grinds the nail to a super narrow coffin. (Too late now, right?) So I’m sitting there while she’s doing this and the tech next to me is grinding another customers nails. Her setting must have been too high or something because I had pieces of the customer’s nails fling at me and onto my shirt. She saw me wipe it off and started laughing. It was gross and certainly not funny. My tech starts filing my nails. Because the coffin shape is so narrow, the file is rubbing against my skin. I had asked her to do French tips, and they look horrendous. There’s grooves (not smooth) in a couple nails. The white towards the outside of the nails aren’t finished. The whole time I was there I felt like they were rushing to get people in and out. I go to pay and it’s over $100. The quality of work I received was not worth what I paid. I don’t mind paying that much if my nails actually look good. The place I usually go to doesn’t charge as much yet they have better customer service and quality work. I got in my vehicle and took several pictures displaying all the imperfections. I cried because of how bad they looked and how raw my fingers were. I didn’t complain because they clearly do not care about quality, I didn’t expect them to do a better job a second time around, and my fingers hurt. I will NOT be going back. Next day-...
Read moreI was excited to come here because of some of the reviews but to only be disappointed I did. I came in for nail removal and gel new full set I’m very particular of how my nails are done because of the type of work I do. And also because I am also paying for a service and willing to pay extra. I expressed I have been getting my nails done for years to the gentleman and how my nails are also what happens if not done a certain way. I am also familiar and have dabbled in doing nails this gentleman completely ignored my wants for a service I am paying for. I also expressed concern for a couple cuts he had on his hands as he was doing my nails that were fresh not clean that to was ignored. So needless to say one whole hand doesn’t have the proper amount of glue when the new nail set was applied or any primer at all to hold the nails to the bed. The reason the other hand was doubled I expressed I do bring primer and glue if needed and or I will pay extra and I do tip heavy for the work out of appreciation for my needs due to the type of work I do. It was mind blowing to know this didn’t matter it technically wasn’t allowed because my nails have already began to come off and they would want me to come back. I fixed them myself I won’t be back because this all could have been prevented they choose to skim he had a lot of nerve as well he was aware and said no you come...
Read moreI visited here for a full set of acrylic nails after getting multiple recommendations. My initial experience was great. My nails looked amazing, and I was impressed by the technicians attention to detail and skill. The real issue began the next day, when my nails started to hurt like each one had been smashed with a hammer. I figured maybe this was just part of getting used to them (I haven't had a set in several years). By the following morning, however, my nails were burning, itching, and the cuticles were getting really red. I called up a friend who has been in the nail and beauty industry for over 30 years, and she said it sounded like they may have used MMA acrylic, a substance banned by the FDA and banned in the state of AZ for nail use. I did some more reading, and I think it checks all the boxes. Burning, itching, redness, a "fruity" smell when filed (it is a super strong smell), and it took me over 2 hours to soak off after filing down most of it and using 100% acetone. It was also super gummy while trying to soak it off. Proper acrylic should take 40 minutes or less to soak, off, and should be flaky. As much as I wanted to love it, I won't be returning since I can't be sure they're using the...
