💖The Gym of Tucson is Tucson’s best gym for a reason! It is home to a group of dedicated and genuine individuals who know not only how to meet your needs, but uplift and inspire you. Each workout can suit beginners who have never been to a gym before, or easily challenge a seasoned athlete. The variety of well thought out exercises in cycles keeps me engaged and excited to continue my fitness journey. Since attending the Gym of Tucson my personal bests for my lifts have almost doubled and I have more confidence and knowledge in the gym than ever before. This gym in particular has energized me, made me more comfortable with my body, and eager to learn more about my physical capabilities. With over 16 years of experience planning workout cycles and building a positive encouraging community while having fun comes naturally to Rose. In class and out she is in tune with each client’s needs with a sense of urgency and knowledge that is unmatched! It is so easy to be inspired by her bright energy and passion. The team of coaches she has behind her are also phenomenal. Each class is led by an experienced coach keeping people safe with their lifting technique while being kind and positive. I cannot appreciate Rose and the wonderful environment she has worked so hard to create enough. I highly recommend the Gym of Tucson for those who want to feel stronger inside and out!
🏋️♂️ Cam’s Olympic Weightlifting class is perfect for those who want to challenge themselves or try something new! As a result of this class I have gotten stronger and my confidence is growing every day. I truly enjoy how complex the Olympic lifts are. There is always a way to improve them which only keeps my enthusiasm at an all time high. I was nervous to start because the lifts looked impossible, but Cam and my other classmates put my mind at ease on day one. Not only does Cam have years of experience, but he is excellent in his ability to match communication styles, and has never hesitated to change what we are learning based on the client’s needs or physical limits. He is also has an inherent intuitiveness which makes him patient with new class goers, taking time to make sure they understand each lift at a pace they are comfortable with. If you want to feel empowered while being surrounded by a kind and positive community, I highly recommend Cam’s Olympic Weightlifting class!
🍑 Jade’s Plump Rumps class is excellent for those who want heavy leg days to shape and plump that rump! I can lift so much heavier since going to this class and many of my friends have commented on how nice my legs look overall. (As well as how big my butt is now!🤓) Jade never ceases to amaze me with her creativity and passion for fitness. She has about a decade of experience, and her thoughtful approach to helping people shows it. If someone is having trouble with technique, injury, or mobility, Jade has always known how to remedy the situation in record time. Her interest in each client is a genuine part of her nature and her excitement for your progress is contagious. Jade is so kind and fun to be around I know anyone would be happy in her class. In the past three months, I have realized we often take our health for granted. The simple things our body allows us to do. We believe our bodies will always “work” and be ready. It took me several tries and plenty of gym memberships to realize you’re willing to invest in your body and health with the right people. I truly believe The Gym of Tucson is that place.
This August I had ankle surgery and while the surgery was not at all what I had expected, I can genuinely say that the recovery has made all the difference. My motto throughout this recovery has been simple – build on the small wins. Rosemary, the Owner of The Gym of Tucson, has helped me regain the muscle I lost due to the surgery. Her attentiveness and knowledge and passion to help me has truly touched me and I feel like I owe her so much. I feel incredibly humbled to be a part of such a great community. I feel blessed to have people like Jade (who may I add always has the best music on), Kyle who is always there to greet you with a smile, and all of them as a collective will cheer you on and make you work!

From the very first class I took, I was welcomed with open arms. There’s an energy at this place that’s hard to put into words — it’s the perfect blend of motivation, encouragement, and genuine care. Rosemary, the owner, is one of the kindest and most sincere people I’ve ever met. Her warmth radiates through everything this gym stands for. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and truly passionate about helping you grow — both physically and mentally.
One of the things I love most is that it’s a small, female-owned gym. There’s something really special about training in a space that’s privately owned and deeply cared for — it has so much more soul and personality than any big-chain “globo gym.” You can feel the love and intention behind everything, from the coaching to the community.
The Gym of Tucson quickly became so much more than a workout spot for me. It was a community, a sanctuary, and one of the most meaningful parts of my time in Tucson.
