Marco Escapes - Marco Island Vacation Rentals — Attraction in Marco Island

"0" ZERO STARS!!!! And a huge caution to everyone! Not sure what happened to this company in recent years but.. .just rented a $7000.00 house with supposedly a heated pool and jacuzzi! NOT....cold pool. Cold tub, No jets! 707 PLANTATION COURT....POOL UNUSABLE! Called many times. Thier representative Alexander came out 4 times himself and could not get it working as well as they sent the pool company out twice and it was still not repaired. Coming from a cold winter in New Jersey with my 3 grandchildren it was very disappointing. When I tried to contact them to resolve this issue they refused to respond for almost 2 weeks. Finally got a response. Or attach, I should say. Telling me that my whole family is a bunch of drunk, rude, uneducated people and we were turning it off on purpose just to cause problems!!! Bad results, BAD BUSINESS, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, LOW CLASS IRREPUTABLE BUSINESS!!! I wonder if Alexander, thier representative, was drunk and uneducated also? They insist on being paid by check for a reason, so you have no recourse! DO NOT PAY THEM BY CHECK!! That was my only mistake not insisting on using my American Express card so they could have handled this for me. To date still no resolution or response after that personal attach!! Plenty of other beautiful amazing places to stay/rent from and businesses in Marco island!! WE WILL KEEP YOU POSTED DO NOT USE...

We rented a home for two weeks and the process couldn't have gone better. They promptly answered all of our questions and gave us a wealth of information about Marco Island. When we arrived we found brand new pillows still in their wrappers and there was jazz playing over the home's speakers which was a cool touch. We expected to have to go to the store yet were surprised to find bottled water, napkins, paper towels, soap, shampoo, etc which was awesome! We actually had a minor issue and ended up having to call Marco Escapes at 2AM at one point during our stay and to our surprise they showed up within ~15 minutes! I expected the rep to be groggy and/or a bit annoyed and to be honest I would have been if it was me. However, the rep was EXTREMELY nice and when I apologized about having to call so late the rep responded with "That's what we're here for!" This minor issue really showed just how well Marco Escapes is run. It's easy to think a company is great when things run smoothly but when something goes wrong that's when the true colors of a company shows. Marco Escapes treated this minor issue amazingly well. We couldn't be happier and will definitely be using them again on our next trip to the island. Thanks Marco Escapes!

We celebrated a 50th anniversary with family at one of the properties on Marco Island for a nine day stay. The home was beautiful and the amenities were amazing! Our family was able to use the bikes that were provided plus all of the great pool rafts and toys that were left for us. One of the favorite things was the beach chairs, beach toys and even the rolling cart which allowed us to easily transport her items to the ocean. In addition, the kitchen had every thing you would ever need to use for cooking including spices, coffee filters, cleaning products, etc. They thought of everything!

We had good customer support and enjoyed the area very much. Amanda was fantastic to work with and they helped us put together every wonderful detail to make our stay completely enjoyable.

There was an email sent prior to our stay which included all the details of check in and check out plus things to do around the island. We appreciated all of the information to help our time getting in and getting out go very smoothly. Our last full day was pretty busy doing laundry (bedding, towels, folding and putting away) and dishes, but other than that it was the most relaxing time and none of us wanted to leave!

We would highly recommend Marco Escapes and look forward to the next time we are able to stay...
