My recent brunch experience left me with mixed feelings. The restaurant itself is absolutely stunning. The interior design is truly a feast for the eyes, creating a wonderful ambiance that promised a delightful meal. Though, the downstairs area was lacking. It seemed like the decorator spent a grand at the local TJ Maxx. The artwork in the basement was odd. One was a painting of Rocky Balboa. 🤔. Anyways, Our server was fantastic - attentive, friendly, and incredibly helpful. The service was top-notch and certainly contributed to a positive overall experience. Unfortunately, the food itself fell far short of expectations. While the presentation was lovely, the quality of the ingredients and the execution of the dishes were noticeably lacking. It all seemed to be sourced from super markets. Thin, pre partied sausage, instant potatoes. The drinks on the other hand were phenomenal. Coffee came locally from black dog. It was noticable as I had even guessed with my lover that the coffee was black dogs. We could even tell the whip cream that was atop the espresso Martini was homemade. It's disappointing when such a beautiful venue and excellent service are let down by the food. I sincerely hope the kitchen can address these issues, as the restaurant has so much potential. With improvements to the food quality, this could easily become a must-visit brunch spot. This is definitely a place I'd go to if I wanted to enjoy the atmosphere, take photos, and look fancy. If I wanted to experience higher quality, better tasting food, I'd go elsewhere. I'd recommend to go atleast once to Decide...
Read moreI purchased my first ticket to an event at the Venue and was genuinely excited to attend. Instead, the experience was extremely disappointing and left me questioning whether I would ever return.
We followed the instructions exactly as provided. The confirmation email clearly stated, “If you reserved multiple tickets, simply give your name at the door. We will have a guest list with your ticket count.” To avoid any issues, I even sent one of my guests ahead early. When he tried to enter, staff told him he was denied entry because his name wasn’t on the list—despite the instructions clearly stating entry was by ticket count, not by individual names.
When I arrived just five minutes after the event’s start time, the doors were already locked. I stood outside for about 10 minutes, in plain sight of staff, yet no one offered clarification or assistance. Staff members visibly ignored us, which was both unprofessional and discourteous.
At no point in the ticket confirmation or event details was there any mention of a “lock-out time” or that late arrivals—even by just minutes—would be refused entry. This lack of communication, along with staff disregarding the venue’s own policies, is unacceptable.
As a first-time customer, this was a terrible impression. Clear communication, honoring your own stated policies, and showing basic courtesy to paying guests should be the bare minimum. Instead, I was left disappointed, excluded, and unwilling to recommend this...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at The Venue by Brix27 the newest brunch spot in town, and I can confidently say it’s a delightful addition to the local food scene!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor strikes a perfect balance between cozy and modern, with bright colors and plenty of natural light streaming in from the large windows. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy a leisurely meal with friends or family.
Now, let’s talk about the food! The menu features a fantastic variety of brunch classics with a creative twist. The bread was perfectly toasted, the fruit - freshest in town, sausage gravy had an excellent flavor.
The drink menu is equally impressive, boasting a selection of coffees, juices, and brunch cocktails. I tried their signature Mimosa and Espresso Martini. Each one was refreshing and a fun way to kick off our meal.
Service at The Venue was top-notch. Our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations based on our preferences. The overall vibe was relaxed yet lively, making it a perfect spot to unwind on a weekend.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a new brunch spot that offers delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service, look no further than The Venue. I can’t wait to go back and try more of their...
