The shop is quite lovely and has a much larger selection than one would guess from the outside. The man (owner?) who assisted me was very polite and helpful. I was choosing a birthday gift for my spouse and I gave him a few specifications and details about my husband and he showed me choices he thought would fit what I was looking for. Once I decided what to buy, he offered to gift wrap it and it was beautifully done. That is not a service often seen anymore and I appreciated it as there is now less risk of my spouse being able to spoil his surprise. ;-) The only drawback, which is somewhat expected, is that once I got home and researched the item, I found it on Amazon for less than half the price I paid (and it was on sale 20% off in the shop). The warranty Amazon offered seems to be several years shorter, though. So, all-in-all, I was happy with my experience, with the service and information provided, and the personal attention received while supporting a local business, but do expect to pay a premium for this...

Took a wristwatch in for repair on October 5th. Was told by Mary it would be 6-8 weeks. Was finally contacted in January it was finished. Picked up the watch and the illuminated "pip" was missing from the bezel. The old man behind the counter offered to have his guy look at it to see what could be done. The answer should have been we will make it right, but that was not the case with this place. I wanted to keep my business local, however I will never deal with this place again and I encourage anyone who is considering it to find somewhere else. Unethical and...

I went there to get 2 diamond rings sized. After a week I received a call telling me the rings were ready. I stopped in to pick them up and she started adding things up without even showing me the rings. I took the envelopes and emptied them and proceeded to try on my rings. Neither one was ever worked on! She sized them in front of me and said "oh I don't know what happened. He's been sick." What a shame the small business is resorting to straight up...
