Bank Books — Local services in Martinsburg

The wonderful people that run this bookstore and antique shop are extremely knowledgeable and amazing human beings.

The shop holds a broad selection of both beautiful books perfect for gifts or if you’re Collector and of course many options for the not so gentle but wonderfully enthusiastic reader. At first that purchased “starter” books in a series that I came to love so much I came back and invested in beautiful hard back versions of certain series for rereading.

In the rare instance Bank Books does not have the title you are looking for the good folks that run the store, upon request, ca. work with other locally owned books stores to acquire the title for you.

(Picture included) My favorite spot in Bank Books is the ICONIC Bank Vault reading room. Chairs are also tucked in almost every row of book filled walls, to encourage all to indulge in reading. The comfortable environment of the store inspire all patrons to adventure with in the pages of the books both within the walls of Bank Books and after purchase at home.

This is a good bookstore you don't see a lot of brick and mortar bookstores anymore so this was a nice place to find, when I first learned of it and then I was up in the area and I drove by it I was like wow that's an old bank but they turned it into a book bank,well i went in and was amazed with just the sure volumes that they have and found quite a few older books that I have been looking for. The staff there are very helpful The prices are very reasonable and they have more than just books there they have book related items and a little of this and a little of that as well it is a fun place to go to for the entire family everybody is sure to find something that they would want I go by here often when I am in the area and I always find a lot of good deals and a lot of good books you will too I do highly recommend a visit to here for you and your family you will...

I originally went to look around and see if it lived up to the hype, but I left with a full bag and a new favorite place in town. The owners are the sweetest people on the planet, I’m convinced, and the selection of books is nearly unmatched. I had some trouble finding things at first, but I asked them if they had any of the books that I had on my TBR and they were able to find or get every. single. book. Just phenomenal.
