Pleasure Inn — Restaurant in Mason

The pleasure inn is a cute, quaint little bar in the center of historical Mason. From the outside it doesn't look like much but me and my friends had such a good time!! They pour their mixed drinks heavy if that's what you like and they have a pretty good selection of beers on tap and in bottles. My favorite part of the bar was how many games they have to play- darts, pool, shuffle board... There is always something to do. The owner of the bar was so nice and helped up learn to play shuffle board. The only negative I have is that this is a cash only bar. They do not take credit or debit cards. It's "Old Mason"... I felt like I should have smoked a Winston cigarette, and not a wussy light, full flavored. I feel like English as my first language worked as an advantage to the great service that I received. My Uber app didn't work until I walked 100 feet away from the property. At least nobody gave me guff when my kid called the bar looking for me. And I think the best part was that of the two bartenders... one went to high school with my dad, and the other graduated from high school with my brother.

In otherwords... I love this bar. It creates a great story that doesn't sound...

Reasonable beer and cocktail prices. Friendly service from the owner and bartenders. 15 credits for $5 on the jukebox. Pool table, shuffleboard, and 3 flat screens. Cash only, but ATM fee is only $2.25. Not a full-time restaurant, but if Jeff the owner is there, he can usually fix you up with something good to eat from the kitchen. If not, they maintain a good selection of chips, snacks, nuts, etc.
