Kings Island Ticket Booths — Attraction in Mason

I really have a love hate relationship with KI. Their employees are not always the kindest. Their ride height restrictions are a little to restricting compared to other parks. However, what made me stop and write this review was last night at Winterfest. We went and saw Santa. My son obviously loved it and Santa was awesome! We have a fun pics pass. However we were not allowed to use it unless we bought a photo package. The cheapest one was 20 bucks for a 5x7. Really... you cant let us get a digital download of our child visiting Santa after we already paid for the picture pass. Isn't that why I got it.... then I didnt even get to pick which picture of my son I wanted. When I walked up to the guy to pick my ornament they already had the photos printed. On the cheat he had two extra photos left over. He asked if I wanted to buy them for $2. Umm no. I bought a fun pix pass and spent $30 to get my download. You really cant let me just have the 2 extra wallet photos. When I said no he turned around and threw them away! Are you fricken kidding me right now. You threw them away instead of giving them to me. Over $2! Either way you didnt get your $2.

I just kept looking at how crowded the place was and all the thousands upon thousands of dollars they are making, and I couldn't have 2 wallet size photos. It just really ate away at me how...

Kings island is a great place with lots of AWESOME attractions. Loved a lot of the coasters, a few were rough and left me sore but hey its a coaster what ya expect right? the annes pretzels were DELICIOUS lots of variety in rides, an entire water park, (i believe is purchased separately?) But is quite fun aswell, with its own rides and wave pool. For the most part staff were really nice.the lines were quite fast for most rides i experienced.

❕ - drinks around $3-5 for water, $5-7 for soda. $15 for 1 day refillable drink i believe. ❕ - food id say around $5-$15 but i don't know fully. ❕ - lots of kid-friendly rides in snoopy-world! ❕- parking is $30 regular. ❕- fast lane purchaseable for getting short cuts to rides. ❕ - lots of shaded areas !! ❕- lockers available for swim gear etc. ❕- water drinking fountains around park . ❕ - up to date and easy to read maps, even availadble through their very own app.

.......reason for 4 star......... Things that could be fixed: 🔴- noticed a lot of rides are fine with you putting things in a bin to store your bags, drinks, etc until after the ride, however, banshee, a ride where you shouldn't carry anything on you doesn't allow you to put things to the side??? Not even as simple as a drink. But the staff can? Yea, get a bin...

The place is fun and all for its location due to no other amusement parks being relatively close. In doing so, the minimum age to work in Ohio is 14 with a permit. The place is ran by 14-18 yeah old kids at best who show no initiative or authority in their positions. In such the service is slow, the food areas are a mess and nothing is cleaned or wiped down. Do not come on a sunday, they order their food for "projected" amounts needed that week when school is back in session. Good on a business scale for unused products. But bad when your customers can not eat. But none the less, it can be a fun family/friend trip if you prepare yourself first and not eat while...
