This is a fun part of the bigger Kings Island Amusement park that is catered to younger kids (2-8 years is a pretty good range). There are rides with no height restriction but require a parent if the child is too small to ride alone, and other rides with height requirements ranging 36-44 inches. Woodstock Express (also known as the Beastie or the Scooby Doo roller coaster for us old kids) is a kid favorite. Boo Blasters is a nice change of pace if you need an air conditioned space for a few minutes.
One really nice feature for parents with very small children is the Fischer Homes Family Care Center. It features an air conditioned space that allows parents to take a break with babies or toddlers, with two family restrooms with lots of space, several baby changing stations outside of the restrooms, several sinks, and a curtained-off space with four comfy rocking chairs, outlets, and side tables for nursing or pumping. I nursed my baby here several times, and it was very nice.
There are multiple food and drink spots throughout the area, which are priced the same as the rest of the park and accept the food/drink plans, if you have them. Snoopy Boutique offers a cute spot for Peanuts and Kings Island souvenirs.
Even on days when the park is very busy, Planet Snoopy ride lines are usually not super long. The park is stroller and wagon friendly. If you're lucky, you might see Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, or other characters...
Read moreIt was a good day. Park is immaculately clean. Several rides and food places were closed that we wanted to visit. If you live near highly suggest a season pass bought early- because the price increased after Memorial Day- and possibly the food/ drink package. The drinks and food have limits as to what is available with the package deal so beware. Cash is not an option to use there so beware of that too. The food is outrageously high as are the drinks and the prices in the gift shops are outrageous too. The water park was refreshing. Might suggest packing food and drink in a cooler in your car and eating on the tailgate or diving to nearby restaurants but check first if you can get back into the park without paying the ridiculously high fee to park, just saying. And make sure you get a return to...
Read moreWe had a great time visiting and will be there often this summer. My only complaints are the sticks that measure the younger kids are all different. My grandson could ride one ride but then not others because someone can't measure. Getting him measured up front he clearly was above the 36 inch limit but the bracelets don't stay on in the heat and we have to keep going back up there to be measured to avoid the hassles with the kiddie rides. I also have a drink plan and don't appreciate having to have pop spill on me because you don't do lids for us. Seriously? The younger kids that hit that 36 inches don't have many rides that they can ride. Would be nice to see you later a little more for the toddlers even if they don't pay. The rest of the family spends plenty...
