Panda Express at kings island used to be one of my favorites, the prices were decent and the servings were huge. however during the 2024 season, the servings have been cut in HALF for more money? I was extremely disappointed with the portion I received for my meal pass. If I’m spending over 130 dollars for my meal pass for the season, I’m expected a decent serving size. They used to give 2 entrees and 1 side, which they would load up. Now it’s 1 side and 1 entree, which they’re very stingy about… Our lo mein consisted of more lettuce/cabbage than any lo mein at all and we were given a small spoonful of chicken (keep in mind this now cost roughly 17.99). This is very disappointing for how much we’re putting towards our meal passes. The portion size was more than adequate. As far as pricing, it is a good option if you have a Kings Island meal plan (very recommend) but is a bit pricey, as all of the dining options in the park are. The location is great if you are in a group because it is in an area with several different dining options and ample seating.
This was my first time trying Panda Express, I will most certainly try it again at a different location (due to park food pricing) and if it doesn't wow me, I don't think I would make this chain a...
Read moreI must say, my experience was a mixed one. On one hand, I found the dishes to be overwhelmingly sweet, much sweeter than what I have experienced at other Chinese restaurants. This might be a matter of personal preference, as it appears that many people enjoy this level of sweetness in their food. That being said, I did not have the opportunity to try all the dishes on the menu, so I will reserve full judgment until I have had a chance to sample more of their offerings. In the meantime, I would recommend giving PEX a try if you have a sweet tooth, as it seems that this is one of the restaurant's defining...
