Festhaus — Restaurant in Mason

I enjoy Festhaus overall. It's a great place to get out of the heat and relax, though I do believe there should be staff dedicated to cleaning the place up a bit more. I'm at least happy to see that people that are just there for drinks can practically skip the line. That has certainly been useful.

If you ask me, I think they should bring the German food back. Maybe they could take Panda Express, put it somewhere else, and create a German menu. I have a toddler and I thought this looked like a fun place to eat. No kids meals or smaller entrees on the menu. For some reason they had no salads or fruit cups even though they were on the menu. No trays to put the food on. When I asked at the register if they had more trays anywhere (I had 2 plates, a drink, and a stroller to push), I got a simple "no". Panda Express and LaRosas are inside Festhaus. If you have the meal plan the food is plenty. The seating is long benches, but areas are marked for social distancing. Ppl respect it. Hand sanitizer stations are placed in several locations as well.
