Comparable to Cedar Point's Raptor, but the overall themeing and ending barrel roll of this coaster make it a winner. Not to mention there's seven whole inverts. It's a fun little ride to start your day with and was usually a walk-on. If it did have a wait, it was no more than ten minutes. The ride ops here are fantastic with pushing out cars and chewing through lines.
The inverts themselves you don't really feel much. Going up the first lift hill and then immediately getting flipped helps you adjust to the feeling. But, oh man, that ending barrel roll gets you. You really feel it in the bottom of your stomach, it's pretty great.
Only downside is you get majorly stapled and the harnesses aren't the most comfortable thing in the world. They dig into your shoulders pretty bad, no matter what size you are. Speaking of which, this is the only coaster in the entire park that has specific seating to accommodate larger guests (row 4 & 5).
Regardless, don't...
Read moreIt's honestly a great coaster, it's just the color of the track very confusing. I know it's supposed to be Purple like In the 3D animated video but in reality, is it really? it doesn't look purple to me buy the way I'm looking at it. No matter when it's cloudy or when the sun is out, of course sometimes you can see the purple in it but It looks Maroon, then in Magenta, eventually when the sun sets, It's still very confusing, So The track along with the logo needs to be repainted into a different shade of either Purple, or Magenta. I'm not trying to sound stubborn, that's just what I have an opinion about. Hopefully when it ever needs a new coat of paint I'm hoping you'll use a different shade of either Purple or Magenta to be more specific because right now it looks hard to tell if it is one of the 2 colors. If it's Purple, You should repaint it into a different shade of Purple, or if it's Magenta You should repaint it into a different...
Read moreSo Banshee is good. But it has a horrible rattle in the very back car. My favorite row on B&M inverts is the back row. I love the whip through inversions and the first drop the most. Banshee is one rough B&M though. Which blows my mind considering it was built in 2014. Luckily I could better appreciate it's layout this recent visit to KI. But basically every valley is brutal. They really need to address the roughness issue. It ruins what would be a great ride. It also didn't help that the operations at the ride were atrocious. Every cycle there was two trains stacked on the brake run with one in the station for several minutes. It would've been worth it if it wasn't so rough. Only the last third of the ride is smooth comparatively. It's rideable but definitely not very enjoyable. Ride it for the credit. But until they fix that rattle you shouldn't really...
