Tom & Chee — Restaurant in Mason

I rarely leave reviews, but this restaurant was the line in the sand for my family. $53 for a family of 3 to eat kid food, seriously? We have made a pact not to go out very often because of this. The food isn't bad. It is just average grilled cheese sandwiches with Mac and cheese that my kids didn't like. The salads are good and fresh. I was charged .50 to add like 2 small slices of pepper to my half sandwich. Also, half sandwiches are literally half of an average bread slice. All of this is served in a restaurant that looks like a school cafeteria with cheap furniture...not right for pricey sandwiches. Amazing food, with CUSTOMIZABLE FOOD. Like, for free. My friend got a Classic Chee with BBQ sauce and I have tried the Classic Chee, Heavenly Bacon BBQ Chee (without the bacon), Tom & Chee, Mac ‘n cheese, and fruit, and they were all top notch (maybe except the fruit, but I’m it’s hard to get me to like fruit {my standards are strict when it comes to fruits 😋}) The service was great.

My friend ordered a Classic Chee with BBQ sauce, but instead got a Heavenly BBQ, so they IMMEDIATELY switched the order out AND gave us a free Chee. Top notch customer service and...

Ate here several times during my visits to Kings Island, and Tom & Chee is one of the best restaurants to eat at with or without the Dining Plan. Not only was the food delicious, but the customer service was top-notch, especially on a hot Saturday in the middle of May! I saw them preparing ice-cold water cups and putting them on trays for everyone to grab.

Wish they could expand to more locations past the Cincinnati metro, but always looking forward to another grilled cheese sandwich when visiting...
