Jason Kent, the owner of Aloha Auto, is the most reliable person that I have dealt with in the auto industry, and is one of the most honorable and trustworthy people I have had the pleasure to get to know. Jason sold me a ten year old BMW X3, not just any ten year old BMW... but one that was like new. I mean spotless and without a scratch on it with super low miles. When I moved from Hawaii to France I trusted Jason to leave that car with him (after a year of enjoying it) along with my 2016 Toyota Tundra truck that I owned. When I was planning my Maui vacation, one of the hurdles to clear was securing a rental car. At the time, rental cars were scarce or too expensive. After researching options, I found Aloha Auto and Jason. We worked through the details of my rental, and I had the peace of mind to proceed with my vacation planning. Due to an unplanned emergency Jason experienced, we had to adjust my arrangements to pick up the car. We visited and rented a car from Aloha Auto for about 6 days. Was great renting local instead of one of the big companies since we got to speak to the same person every time and the experience was just much more personable. The car was also of much better value than I generally get from the big rental spots.

The location is incredibly central in Lahaina and super easy to get to. The car worked perfectly for our trip which included the road to Hana and the trek up Haleakala, and was very clean and in great shape when we picked it up.

Pick up and drop off was made extremely simple and contactless. Working with Jason and Aloha Auto made this aspect of our trip effectively worry free.

Overall a great experience and would 100% use them again next time...
