Maui Hands - Pa'ia — Attraction in Maui

Maui Hands Art Gallery is truly a gem among Hawaiian galleries. They are fortunate to represent some of the most masterful artists across the Islands, offering an incredible range of pieces—from as little as $20 to tens of thousands of dollars and beyond.

I was especially impressed by the high quality of art they curate and their genuine dedication to customer service. The staff are not only knowledgeable and welcoming but also go out of their way to connect you with the artists themselves. The gallery’s owner deserves major credit for creating such an inviting and service-focused environment.

On a recent trip to Maui, I was on a mission to find masterfully hand-carved necklace pendants that honor Hawaiian culture—museum-quality pieces. I explored countless galleries and art fairs during my search, and Maui Hands stood out immediately, even during my online research before the trip.

When I finally visited—just a day before heading home—I was blown away. I instantly fell in love with the artwork, the staff's helpfulness, and their willingness to reach out to artists for bespoke commissions. I ended up spending more than I had planned, but I’m proud to support such talented local artists and to now own some of the finest handcrafted art the Islands have to offer.

We left Paia and regretted not making a purchase from a store. I thought it was Maui Hands. I gave them a call and got connected with Bonnie. It turned out the product I was looking for was not at Maui Hands. BONNIE, offered to walk to the neighboring shops and find the store with the product I was looking for!

WHO GIVES THAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYMORE? Bonnie ended up finding the product I was looking for and giving my info to that shop. We have been going to Maui for the past eight years.... BONNIE I am coming to see you next time we are in town. THANK YOU so much for living ALOHA!

Beautiful gallery with all local artist's work/designs. The two ladies working there - Jennifer and Kitty were very personable and sweet! When my husband and I first walked in and started looking around, I overheard Kitty asking Jennifer if she wanted a coffee and so I jokingly said, "I'll take one." Well, a few minutes later, Kitty came walking back in with 3 coffees - one for Jennifer, one for herself, and yes, one for me.
