We enjoyed our dinner at Miagros Food Co.

We didn't have to wait long to get a table. The hostess was friendly. Our server was also very friendly and attentive without being too intrusive. Everyone at the restaurant were friendly and they appeared to work well together.

The restaurant was clean inside and also outside in the outdoor dining area. The decor is what you expect for a Tex-Mex restaurant, but it was very tastefully done. You can tell this is an older building, but it is maintained quite well.

The restrooms are buried way in the back and up several steps, but they were easy enough to find. They were clean enough but they were out of paper towels when we visited. Admittedly, the restrooms are in need of a refresh as they felt more like they were in a gas station and not in a restaurant.

The food portions were large. The Taquitos were a great starter. They had just the right amount of flavor. The grilled Mahi Fajitas were good and were served with black beans and Spanish rice. The Mahi was just a tad over cooked, but it was still more than acceptable. The chicken soft tacos were quite large and had good flavor. They were also served with the black beans and Spanish Rice. The chicken was also just a touch overcooked and a bit chewy, but it was still enjoyable.

We recommend Milagros Food Company if you're in the mood for Tex-Mex and are in the Paia area. The service is great and the portions make for...

Not very customer oriented. I asked to order the black bean nachos as a dip with the chips on the side and was told it was not possible without bothering to ask. I have worked in a restaurant for numerous years and know for a fact things can be put on a bowl and topped with cheese then put in a salamander to melt. Very disappointed with this place, bartender is uncaring and short with guests.

Although my friends decided to stay, I choose not to eat. After my friends were given their food and had a few bites, ROACHES were noticed. We calmly notified the waitress and her response is, it's an inside/outside bar and it's roaches are common. We were given the bill for everything and could not understand since most of the food was not touched. After informing the waitress that we would pay for the liquor only. The bartender made a snide comment about it's common roaches are here and if that's the way we wanted we can just leave. Her ride attitude is bad for your business and needs to be addressed. She tried to cover up by saying she was busy and she didn't mean for it to sound as rude as it sounded, she meant that if we felt as strongly as we did she didn't want is to pay for anything. That was her trying to save herself. I don't believe her and I hope this review teaches out and let's people know the atmosphere that your are promoting with her working the bar or if she is that busy, then she needs more staff it she needs...

We wanted to try Milagros for dinner after eating at Paia Fish Market across the street more than once. I had high hopes due to the reviews it’s received, but was it incredibly the opposite of good. We started out sitting inside because it was chilly outside and after 20 minutes of sitting inside, a German roach ran across the wall behind us! After seeing that, we obviously wanted to move tables and our appetite disappeared. We brought the roach incident to the bartenders attention and she said “it’s Hawaii.” A bad attitude. Not something you say to a customer! We finally ended up moving to sit outside. The food was less than mediocre. Chicken quesadilla looked and tasted horrible. Guacamole not fresh. The enchiladas were ok, definitely have had better. This place looks to me like it’s just based on drinks because the food was not even close to good. The roach experience was terrible as well. I know there’s roaches in Hawaii, but we hadn’t seen a single one anywhere else. Especially not a restaurant. Not something you want to see where you’re going to eat. Ignore the good reviews and spend your money somewhere else. (Try the delicious Paia Fish Market across the...

Milagros Food Co. in Paia is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric—laid-back island vibes mixed with just the right amount of lively energy. Let’s talk about the bartenders first—phenomenal. Creative, quick, and super friendly. They knew their tequila inside and out, and their cocktail game is next-level. The jalapeño margarita was perfectly spicy, and the Coco Rita was dangerously smooth. You can tell they love what they do, and it makes a huge difference. Now the food… wow. I had the fish tacos and honestly, they were some of the best I’ve ever had—crispy on the outside, flaky inside, bursting with fresh flavor. The mahi-mahi fajitas were perfectly seasoned and sizzling hot. Portions were huge, so we shared and still had leftovers. The service was top-notch—friendly, fast, and genuine. The team made us feel right at home. Whether you’re popping in for happy hour (which is awesome) or sitting down for a full meal, Milagros delivers across the board. Great food, amazing drinks, and an unbeatable vibe.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Hurtful and Unwelcoming Experience We were excited to try this place and came in with good intentions. After sitting down and then deciding to get our food to go, the attitude from the host changed sharply. Instead of understanding or professionalism, we were met with hostility—eye-rolling, snapping, and an overall sense that we were no longer welcome. We weren’t offered water or any service, and when a kind server did come by to offer us water, the host actually drove him away and, shockingly, called us “nothing.” She also told us she had to turn away other tables because we were seated—even though we were there for a very short time and saw empty tables around. To top it off, a tip was demanded, despite the absence of any hospitality. This experience felt not only unprofessional but needlessly demeaning. We’ve never been treated this way in any dining establishment. We hope this feedback leads to some reflection, and that no one else is made to feel as small and disrespected as we did

The dish proportions were very filling. I wasn't expecting such a large meal when the prices were some of the best we could find. The atmosphere is great, with an open front bringing in fresh air. A couple of people had dogs leashed inside which was a bonus for me but could be an issue for others. There are plenty of vegetarian options available here as well. I had the blackened Mahi sandwich which tasted great. The waitress said some people find it spicy but it wasn't a hot spice at all to me and had a great flavour. The fries were amazing tasting. I don't know what the seasoning was but they were some of the best restaurant fries I've had. I like crispier fries and these were perfect to me. Drinks were a big pricey but tasted good and they had interesting cocktails
