Maui Ku’ia Estate Cacao Farm — Attraction in Maui

Our tour guide, Elliott, made this tour even more interesting. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. The chocolate tasting in a treehouse in the middle of the cacao farm is a real fun treat! Although I don't really care much for dark chocolates, I really enjoyed the wonderful fruit-flavored chocolates. In my opinion, the best one is the OMG (Orange, Mango & Guava). The mango chocolates are also very good. Thank you, Elliott, for a fabulous and fun tour! We learned a lot about cacao, Ku'ia chocolates, and Maui in general....

Carley was out tour guide for the day, and what a fun adventure she took us on through the cacao fields. We learned about the history of the land, the company, and the sustainable farming processes used to harvest the crop. We wrapped things up with a sampling of nine different offerings of their chocolate flavors!

This was the most amazing tour and some of (if not the best) chocolate I've ever tasted. I've done tastings in several cities/counties including Paris. The attention to detail in the process, the use/application of science, and the charitable focus makes this so unique. I can't believe this is the standard they have set so early. I can't wait to come back and see what else they have come up with. I will be ordering chocolate from them...
