Went to get passport photos done since someone from Walmart told my partner and I that they couldn’t do it at their location, but the staples across the street could for us and have never felt wronged by a store like this before, but I guess there’s a first for everything. We went in and got the photo done, the guy taking the photo didn’t show us how it turned out nor were there prices on a sign or were prices told to us. When we asked the price he told us that it was going to be $17.99 ($19.07 with tax) for two photos and that he could do one of each of us for the price of 17.99 since they come in twos anyway, but this worker ended up charging us $17.99 for each of us instead (don’t know what made him change his mind) and we ended up having to pay for these photos since they had already printed even though we didn’t even want printed photos in the first place (we expected them to be digital, which he did not tell us about either, he actually said that if we wanted them to be digital it was going to be $24 each for a bundle). Called customer service and they only offered a $10 coupon for staples…I didn’t take it because I don’t plan to go back to staples ever again. I can’t believe how bad the customer service is of this location, it seems like a scam to get this service done. I was told one price and ended up having to pay double and there’s no way we could’ve gotten out of it without just walking out feeling like a criminal or something lol. Read moreI went in to pick up an online order instead of the customer service desk several minutes while two associates both saw me and did nothing about it. When one of the two finally came over, the associate did not listen to me when I said I had an online order and kept asking me if I had dropped off a cell phone and listing other customers' names to see if I was there to pick up their cell phones. When the associate finally listened to me when I said I was there for an online order, he did not seem to know what he was doing. Finally, a helpful associate came and took over, got my order, and got me out of there very quickly. I would have gotten out of the store much faster had I gone in, hunted down the item myself, and checked out normally. It turns out online ordering for store pick up took me longer than it would have taken me to do it myself. Every time I come in to this Staples, associates are either nonexistent or not very helpful. Read moreI went in to buy a large office adequate printer and no one would help me, I asked a manager which finally decided to come over after 10 minutes had gone by and no one else had come to me.Even though there was not much he could tell me about them he was nice enough to price match Amazon and even helped by letting me have another coupon they were running on the ink I did not know about, but when I called a few days later I was on hold for 15 minutes waiting on someone to just find out if they even had another product I was in need of, when I called back to speak with a manager was on hold again for another 10 minute adventure before finally being asked if she could call me back or receive a message she was helping another customer.
