Golden Gate Beverage & Liquor — Attraction in Mayfield Heights

Everything is great here as far as the staff, selection, knowledge and customer service is concerned. They have differently weekly favorites for the wines they rotate through at a great price. The are very understanding when it comes to refunding wines that are purchased if they have gone bad. The only two things that I don't like is their hours are not good in comparison to giant eagle in legacy village's liqour store, which I feel should be at least the same as their competition. Giant eagle in legacy village's is open until nine pm. Also, they aren't too great at being able to get in local requests. I have tried getting something in on an account for maggianos for over a year now and they still can't bring it in even though they already carry the brand I'm requesting, which is Monin strawberry and preach puree. It's the best. We have to order it online from the company. Also worth mentioning is that the parking lot is small and a pain to get in and out of as well. Overall though I like this place. I just always end up missing the closing time and have to go way out of the way for liquor,...

I collect whiskey(bottom shelf through top shelf). I went to get Knob Creek, but found that they had quite an extensive selection of whiskeys. Also, they are not behind a counter or in glass enclosures, so I was able to really look at the labels.I ended up purchasing one lower priced whiskey because it was on sale A middle priced whiskey because it was also on sale. And a 10 year old whiskey because it came with 2 smaller 12 year old whiskeys. I didn't get what I came for because there was so much to choose from. I will be returning to purchase some others that I saw. I may even get around to purchasing my knob creek. Love...

I just got a RARE bottle of Buffalo Trace here....its like finding treasure! Good place to come and shop for booze and good price. I notice some folks talking about how mayfield heights has changed and rude customer service etc etc... I would disagree. I think the folks are very helpful and chill.
