Mary Will Craig Park — Attraction in McKinney

I took my family here the other for a Sunday get away.

We absolutely loved the fresh clean park. They had a great variety of activities that were new and modern.

My son loves riding his scooter around the skatepark and my daughter was thrilled to climb the ropes course.

And if we are being honest, I enjoyed spinning on the spinny things.

The only thing to improve is to have a bathroom built. When we went there was a porta potty which was out of hand sanitizer. Not a very pleasant experience.

A park with a nice small skatepark that is good for solo visit or with a couple other skaters. The paint is already peeling off the coping, rails, and ledges so it needs to be repaired with better paint. Sometimes rocks and wood chips get in the park because of some poor garden placements. Otherwise at really good skatepark.

Of note, the rules are very clear that this SKATEpark is for Skateboarders and Roller Skaters ONLY! Scooter kids, BMX bike riders, and RC car drivers are explicitly not allowed in this SKATE...

So glad they have FINALLY finished the playground. Definitely looks much better than before its really nice in my opinion. My kids & I went on 1st day it re-opened & there was a lot of people already. They have a huge baseball field at the back and love how they added benches for parents to sit & watch with shade. They added a track around the park for anyone who just wants to go for a walk while kids play. Not to mention they added small tables and seating areas with shade 🙌🏼 park itself is MUCH BETTER...
