I took my tablet for repair because the screen's backlight wasn't working. I've changed the screen + flat cable myself and that didn't fix it so obviously there is something with the board.
They asked for a $100 non-refundable service fee. I was skeptical but they promised they can fix it because that's what they do (soldering...). I explained that if it's gonna cost a lot, I prefer to buy a newer model then.
I explained the troubleshooting steps I made and showed them that the tablet is charging and turning on by hearing the charging notification and by seeing the Samsung logo on the dimmed screen.
I called after around a week and they said it's the charging port, the tablet isn't charging. I told them this isn't true and I showed you that before... They said okay, we'll check it again.
I called a few days later or a week after and they said it is the screen. I told them it isn't the screen but okay give it a try...

I then called again to ask if it got fixed and they said no it can't be fixed...
I went to pick it up and they said it can be repaired but it will take time and cost more money. I told them I'm not gonna pay because your service is bad. Fix it for free if you can, I'm not paying more than the $100 I paid initially.

   Read moreI would give this place 0 stars if I could. I brought in my computer for a repair. While the original issue was fixed, other components were damaged in the process â including my screen.
Over the course of 6 months, I repeatedly followed up. The business promised to replace the damaged parts but never followed through. I was told parts were discontinued, even though my laptop is a 2022 model â which I later found to be untrue. When I finally got the laptop back, it was in worse shape. Attempts to reach the shop were ignored, and my number was even blocked at one point. My advice: record the condition of your device before handing it over. Based on my experience, expensive equipment may not be handled with the care you'd expect from a repair shop.
I donât want others to go through what I did. I considered legal action, but without hard evidence, itâs difficult. Just be cautious. This is just unaccetable service they provided and no customer should ever have to go through what I had to go. Reapiring computers are already expensive and then the problem of having to fight to get parts that I did not even break fixed. And the worst part is they didnt event get fixed. My problems were made worse. I have no words, but at least I learned that I will never be coming back to a shop like this ever again.
edit: they did not tell the story how they damaged my computer after fixing the part that was broken. I was very frustrated on the phone but never was abusive or used any bad language at all...

I am a first responder therefore, I could come Saturday at 11 am I was told 10 am so I arrived early to be the first customer after working a 12hr shift. I called & texted Sax with no response! He was the one who told me he would be there at 10:00 am Well, it was now 10:15 am a young lady opened when I gave her my name she asked if I had my new laptop with me she would complete the work. I decided not to allow her to do the download since I didn't know her! I asked for my laptop and charger that I brought with laptop I was Done! Of course, Sax never responded!
