Okay, so this review is a little longer than I normally give but is needed for proper feedback. Typically Papa John's has good pizza and tonight's pizza was not good and was stone cold. It is the customer experience that caused this and needs work.
I ordered 3 pizzas online and when picking them up I paid for them prior to being handed the pizza. Well, they made one of them wrong. In order to correct this and because I already paid, they had to refund my entire order and at the register ask me to verbally rebuild my order one at a time. Then recharge my credit card. While it would have been okay with me to do all that, but they ended up only remaking the one pizza they had wrong while my other two pizza sat under the heat lamp and were no longer fresh.
There I sit....and sit....and sit some more. Now my 2 NOT REMADE pizzas are now really getting old at this point. There is a gentleman sitting next to me that had actually been there longer than me and he too was still waiting. He gets up and goes to the counter to ask where his pizza is. One of the employees goes to find it. She comes back and says "it will be coming out of the oven in 5 min". He looks over at me and says "You know, I have not been to Papa John's in 6 months and now I remember why".
In the end, the customer should be a priority for a pizza place to get returns business. It is a shame that they did not treat me or the other customer better. My pizza was stone cold by the time I got it home and it sort of ruined our Friday night family night. DO BETTER...
Read moreIve ordered from this location multiple times, and it just got worse and worse. This last time apparently they didnt have drivers and they contracted it out with doordash. This is fine, until they womt fix their issues. I placed an order and tracked it. The app said the order was delievered, but it hadnt been. K gave it about 10 minutes incase there was a glitch or something...still nothing. I begin calling the number for the driver "Hector". No answer, so I text, no respomse. multiple times. I then call the store and ask about the order, the lady told me that the driver tried to bring my order but couldnt get into the gated community (the address is not a gated community, ive ordered multiple times no issues) she then tells me the driver attempted to call multiple times (a lie as i attemoted to call them as well). She advised she couldnt remake my order because they just got in a big 25 pie order and they were too busy. I understand that they contracted out with doordash, and technically its on them, but aince it was contracted and not order through doordash then doordash wont resolve the issue either. So, just be careful, theyre dumb and rude, and wont fix...
Read moreThe pizza was very warm and fresh but for how much I paid... I am not pleased with it being smaller than advertised. I ordered a medium, 12 inch, pizza. It is suppose to be 12 inches after you take it out of the oven, not before and I have a feeling it wasn't even that before it was put in the oven. As crazy as it sounds, because there was so much room in the box when I opened it(like a WHOLE inch of space), I measured it just to see and it was 10.75 inches. Thats honestly not enough for two people but being that they close in a few minutes I can't really do anything about it.
The toppings were also put on weirdly. I got half and half with different toppings and both sides had one piece that was overloaded with toppings while the rest had a couple pieces to none of each topping on it.
