MAD Brewing Company — Restaurant in Medina

Went there with our kids for our 17th anniversary to have a fun night out. There was a private party for go-carts so we’d have to wait over 2 hours until they’d be available to the public. We decide to get a table to eat.

The dining area they placed us in had no more than 6 table and 2 people working the area. Our server took our initial drink and appetizer order, after which he jumped behind the bar and spent his time flirting and catering to two women as we sat there and waited, and waited. No one asked us for our food order or to get us another round of drinks. After 50 minutes we asked for the check for our appetizers and left.

How we could be ignored in a 20x20 space is beyond me, but here we are, at a restaurant down the road instead.

I saw the Manager on the way out and explained what happens and why we were leaving. He offered us bowling coupons as an apology, but we love over an hour away. We’re not driving an hour to go...

Their own beers were unavailable (hence the four stars) due to a beer festival. It is a small brewery that is trying to expand. It is located within a company that offers indoor go-karting, and there is also bowling and games for children here. It is wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms were clean. It can get loud. Service and beer reign supreme here! Staff was super friendly and love talking beer! The brewery is on the small and cozy side which is becoming my preferred choice.
