One of the worst shopping experiences of my life! I've shopped here off and on for the last 30+ years and when I say no one helped us, no one helped us. When I confronted the "manager" about it, she seemed apathetic, at best. She really couldn’t care less. I walked in and no one greeted me. Walked right pass the register, no one greeted us. I don’t ever remember this place being like this in the past. I actually needed help finding several candles and a hurricane. After at least 20 minutes of fruitless searching and WALKING RIGHT PASS 3 peoples without any acknowledgement whatsoever, I was frustrated and let the store know. Read moreI love this place. It is both quaint and cozy. I visited to purchase a Bee book that I needed in a hurry. Of course, Root has it. I promptly and happily got 'lost' after walking in. I found many gift ideas, not just for my Beekeeping friends, but for anyone. This is most definitely an eclectic establishment. I enjoyed meandering about, from one side of the building to the other... and then back again... discovering all the different things that they have to offer.
